I got this box after upgraded my 4mb to 8mb streamyx..

all working well...kodi..youtube..iflix..cloudtv...astro otg..

and some already mentioned that hypptv need to use lan connection which is dedicated for iptv..
but i can use wifi connection for hypptv though..
...maybe because I am on streamyx line??
it will hog my general use internet connection??

Streamyx line can watch hypptv using WLAN, but not for unifi.

Guys, I downloaded the Netflix app from apkmirror. I think my hypothetical box has a malware. A lot of running applications in in the back like google play services, external storage, documents...etc...

How to find out what malware and how to clean it?

Google Play Services is not malware.. Just cuz applications are running in the background does not mean there's an infection, it's just how Android is.. It keeps certain apps/services running in the background, to aid other apps or speed up apps launching when called..

I'd advice leave as is and don't simply download or install apps from questionable sources.. Contrary to popular belief, getting an android device infected is quite difficult, provided proper care is taken to shield the device.. Aka common sense applied..

You can check the version you installed. Dont get the latest 1.3.8 version, use the 1.2.7 version. With this version you can have previews just like Android TV.
I tried installing the latest it wont work, but found out from some posts earlier that the the older version is working.

Bro Yes, but unfortunately our little box cannot go beyond 720p, max is only 720p.

hi.. got 2 questions.

1) Regarding viu apps.. Does the promo still exist for new unifi installation? It can be install into STB right?

2) I cant use youtube on STB. It says.. can't connect. Connection error. Yet other apps like iflix, playstore no such problem. Should i uninstall and sideload youtube APK?

1) I'm not sure, because I don't use it.

something like swap? you can but need root, and android now by default will sue zram which is better and faster than swap.

Is it possible to install hypptv apk to other android set top boxes or android tv boxes such as nvidia shield?

My Huawei box is given by my friend, so the pre-installed app will not work with my HyppTV account. I sideloaded another HyppTV Everywhere APK and it works but I use my mobile number to register and login. I can watch those Olympic channels now.

How to reboot/restart the HyppTV beside pressing the on/off button behind ?

Any physical button or setting we can access via remote control to trigger reboot?

None we know of...

Just curious, any particular reason to reboot via remote control.
