I doubt keyboard usage is permanently blocked.. If on the same firmware and followed the steps properly, you should find the installed File Manager within the Applications Menu.

I did followed the steps and after i downloaded es file manager i plugged in my keyboard and pressed ctrl+J,Nothing happens and the lights on the kyboard doesnt light up

If it's the same STB and firmware? Then it should work. So either...
*Keyboard isn't working properly with the STB... Or
*Didn't follow the steps properly.

After the workaround was shared.. Most who initially had issues with it end up...user problem... Bunch of us followed the steps and able to get ES and other apps installed.

I tried Ctrl+J nothing happen. Then I tried Alt+J, it works.

Did your keyboard light up after plug into the stb? Mine doesnt == I think its my keyboard's problem now im trying to confirm with u guys.Does your keyboard lights up when u plug it in the stb?

Can we ssh to this box? or do i need to install something in there to allow for ssh?

Depends on the keyboard used. Not keyboards don't have any lights to begin with. During setup, used a Minix Neo A2 Lite airmouse or Logitech wireless keyboard on mine. After setup, just using the normal STB IR remote.

No idea.. I don't bother with such things on this cheapo TM supplied box with massively stripped down firmware.. Have a better box.

Hi, I just installed unifi with new stb. But then, i cant login iflix. it says my username and password incorrect. I already make sure I typed it correct again and again, but the problem still exist.

I tried login with my other device, its good to go. But I cant login through the stb. Help!

Hmm.. Talking about the pre-installed iFlix app? Maybe it's too old and needs to be updated to the latest. Confirm if that is the latest version.. Else install latest and try again.

Which port does your STB connected to? HyppTv port or normal Internet port?

Does that matter? Thought additional apps have to use wifi?

If he is using cable connected to HyppTv port, iFlix cannot work.

I had enough of fuss fiddling with my Huawei HyppTV box EC6108v8 and decided to send it to ab21cn for rooting and installation of apps. He doesn't root the device.. Just does pretty much what most can already do. Anyways, your money.. Like this, I also can setup mini-shop and have people send their boxes over for a similar fee .. For those who interested and willing to let me do the "dirty" work.. Please pm me..

Okay thanks guys i managed to install the app when i decided to have a last try. So now i installed ES file explorer and now my problem is do i need to install kodi? Sorry im a complete newbie in this and how do i install showbox?

Alrighty i got showbox installed now i wanna know if vpn is required to watch showbox.Do u guys use vpn for showbox?
