Btw the scrshot u showed is the normal youtube for android mobile
On the hypptv, if u r able to install youtube for android tv, then u should be able to play the videos

Not sure how youtube and youtube kids does the connection or chks
Perhaps its the hardware itself?
Maybe u guys could explore and share your findings

Btw the RSS player also doesnt work on this hypptv box

The screen shot that day was my TV screen that connected with the HyppTV STB. I used my ipad to take the photo. The YouTube are paired with my account.
The weired thing now with the youtube on the STB are the account are login and my subscription channels is all up. search without problem but why it shown no connection. If there is no connection it should not even show search result. The only reason I felt is TM has inserted a script in the firmware to block youtube. the restore cannot override the code.

Anyway the only way to watched YouTube is through KODI. RSS feed using KODI is working without problem.

Icdrama is down for the pass 4 days. I'm using azdrama RSS feed to watch hongkong, korean dramas.

you can try SPMC...download it from playstore, maybe can solve your problem and save some money too

just do a backup from kodi and restore it to SPMC

i've just tried SPMC today...and i found that the video runs smoother and less buffering than kodi and SPMC runs faster than kodi.

hey guys, been thinking to buy a new android box after a year full of hassle. Plus, the Krypton is really tempting thou. Do you know if we can installed Hypptv in the new android box? sorry if this questioned being asked, since HyppTV, android box, STB being mentioned so many times in this thread it's impossible to search!

I think this box only accepts Jarvis 16.1.

Yup! The new SPMC from playstore work with HyppTV STB. Exodus search able to get 1080p links.

This Huawei EC6108V8 STB are using 4.4 Kitkat. Krypton Kodi 17 minimum requirement is lollipop.

Looks like your question was misinterpreted a few times...

You can't install the stock Hypptv app in another android box (at least, no public info on how exists)... But, you can install the Hypptv Everywhere app on onther Android devices. Thing is, it's a very tricky app and either works properly or not on the device. What typically happens is that, folks have two separate devices; The stock TM supplied STB used purely for Hypptv purposes and another device for general media playback purposes.

There's a dedicated Android boxes thread, head over there and do not pose questions until you are 100% certain it hasn't been answered before.. We are very helpful, but do not take to kindly to "too noob" a question. So READ thoroughly first!!

Hahaha. finally you got it right! I see. TBH, i hardly watch HyppTV anyways. Kodi all the way~ but still, it will be a plus point if everything can be in one box. Thanks for the heads up. On my journey to search for the right box, its time Don't you worry about the noob question, I'm just gonna read and read till my eyes bleed.

I think SPMC laterst version also requires lollipop, hence no longer compatible with EC6108V8 box.

That's no problem using the SPMC from google playstore. Tested with exodus search, it able to find & play 1080p links.

Yup! Luckily this version still work with the new changes on exodus and others addons. Specto also not capatible with KODI Javis 16.1.

So far this SPMC v16.4 work well with Genesis reborn, flixnet, exodus, openload that I installed on the HyppTV STB.

the video plays well 1080 watching movies

but with twitch i only able to play 720p30fps smoothly, more than that it will stutter

720p60fps, 1080p30fps and 1080p60fps will stutter

is it hardware limitation?
