Ya.. Figured as soon as I read CMOS involved.. Personally, I won't go so deep as I only use the STB for Hypptv. Just that I'm no fan of lockdowns and always like to know my devices always have a way out..

is there custom rom to flash , i dont really want to watch hypptv channel just use it for my kids on youtube, stream from my pc via samba, and kodi.

after update my es explorer still works, youtube too but problem is i cant sign in google acc, and youtube has no history. thanks in advance

Found this one guy on FB. Said he can install playstore n third party app on hypptv stb even with the new update. Met him last night. Charge me rm30. Process took 15 minutes. And he did instal playstore and kodi and what not on my stb.

I just install my unifi so my STB originally came with no playstore and all shit locked with code. So this guy is legit.

Search hypptv adb on fb and you will find him. Sorry cannot type much im on the phone.

btw i didnt know how he did it because he took my stb into his house. I wait outside in my car.
