I had this error too. Try Googling for the YouTube videos to fix it, it's also on this thread. However, it doesn't work on mine. It works after I factory reset the box.

I did only play around with newer version, which we all know, doesnt work.

But then I thought you said, that version 2.1.17.1 works? Or has it stop working as well?

Weird, I am on the latest iflix version for now (at least the last week version, haven't tried today as just got back from vacation).

Since the box got updated to whatever version (4.4.2 maybe) around last week too, google play has listed iflix as downloadable directly from box, which means it will get updated automatically.

I will try it later today and see, my kid is still hoggling the box for youtube. lol

I tried using the latest version in my new box which is on 5.1, it can open and all but video seems not working. Some error, not sure if it's temporary or permanent. I will try playing again on my new box.

So frustrated for long times because unable login google account, failed kodi streaming and no internet access, yesterday i factory reset my STB. I also disabled auto update.
Found out it's not so hard. I should have done this long time ago.

i think have the same problem, actually 2 problems:
1. cannot detect free iflix for unifi, so used trial account
2. can login, then when try to play got error message

any solution? rclxub.gif
already send email to iflix still waiting for their answer

for hypptv box you have this problem or not?
your kodi will reset to original state after restart, all your preference and short cut all gone but addons & repo remain

It is the box's limitation. Nothing much can be done.
