Can login, can see the titles but cannot play. Upon checking, it is box's problem and iflix cannot cater to all types of boxes. Well, it was meant for portable devices and not TV boxes.

Sigh... i looked for this thread again because of the HyppTV issue. After a week or so of not watching, I was prompted for email and pwd when I used Hypptv app. Did cache clearing and now it prompted me to update. OK, updated the app and back to asking for user ID.

Camping here to be spoon fed the solution

just install unifi yesterday =D [need help!]

I have wrongly performed factory data reset on my Hypptv Set-top Box.
It is because I failed to connect to the wifi for internet access.

Now I wish to perform system upgrade but it shown the server address does not exist.

Anyone out there can help me out? what is the correct or native server address that allows us to perform system upgrade?

my current server address is http://201.187.19.170:8082. Hypptv Device Model : EC108V8

Software version: IPTV STB V100R003C01LMYTb1
App Version: v812101630215
System Version: Android 4.4.2
Kernel Version: 3.10.0_s40

I actually purposely stopped the upgrade.
Don't let the system upgrade, not sure if it will stop apps usage later.

Hey btw did you successfully connect Hypptv to the internet without using the cable to watch hypptv channel?

I'm not using HyppTV. Just simply use HyppTV Everywhere app.

Nope it doesnt affect other apps. Been experimenting a lot on this box for more than a year. Finally stopped torturing the bugger and gave it as a Christmas gift to my brother. This box definitely helped me cut the cord and learn all about content streaming. There are limitations but is a very capable basic android box.

I see, I also gave it to my sister. I have my newer box now.
It's more than enough actually for normal IPTV and Kodi.

Youtube app 1.2.7 got issue, some video can only hear sound but the video seems like jam pause...not all video but some...

I'm using Kodi's YouTube add-on on this box. It can watch live shows too. 1.2.7 cannot watch live. So far quite OK.

if only you quit kodi not in proper way...
make sure you exit by click quit button on bottom of kodi front page after make changes on setting and preference.

Tried everything but still cannot sucessfully connect the hypptv box to Internet...zzzz

that video can play on other android device?
