Clear app cache. Use your browser to go to iflix first then let it detects you on UniFi/Streamyx, quit browser and open the app again.

Once again with the force quitting and disabling of core apps.. FYI, disabling an app does not equal an uninstall or deletion.. No space regained as the app is simply hidden from normal view. Disabling certain core apps can pose issues in the future.. Later ppl complain their google account isn't working.. blah blah..

Kodi' YouTube addon is limited to 720p.. I believe the app can provide 1080p res... Others please correct this if wrong.

Clear data and cache... Restart the app.

Oh I see.. Well, in that case.. Thise who already have Kodi installed, probably do not need the separate YouTube app. Thanks for the info.. I don't have this particular box, but like to hang around the thread..

However, I did read on this thread before Kodi plays 1080p on this box?

For the appropriate source and device, Kodi can output up to 4K res... However and regardless of the box, the YouTube addon for Kodi is limited to a max 720p resolution..

i think its from nightly build. not the current stable one.

100s of Mb saved from Google play service which is the complimentary apps to google play. You need to disabled the latter. Seriously with only 2 Gb space of the box, everyone with hypptv must do this step. No issue to me so far when disabled the Google play and Google play service.

To be fair, after I disabled those stuff, I had the difficulty of logging into my YouTube account which is linked from Google Play services.

For YouTube nope. I use app, I will need the login to view my subscriptions.

Well, I guess you can download the APK in sites like APK Pure. They have everything.

Thanks, after countless attempt finally i manage to log in to playstore and download es file manager, then taraaaaa! AOTG in my box...
only that, i just realize AOTG is not HD content, last time used to view in my iphone only, now stretch to 50' tv there's a big difference but still not too bad.
