Try with other h/p. still the same problem. can't receive TAC even after 5 times request. Don't know what to do now. only wait Celcom to solve it for me ( hopefully ).

Maybank website show status "successfully", but my 014 prepaid line never receive TAC. Like drop into deep sea ...

Celcom and TM are in the same family. Maxis owns 012/017 prefixes while Celcom owns 013/109

019 is Celcom network, dear.

well ... at this moment, I will wait for celcom further reply according to this failure of receiving TAC request or any other internet SMS such as activation code etc.

but, the reason I ask for comparison between maxis/hotlink/digi/celcom is that this problem been happened to celcom line, 014 ( as least one case of mine ). If this problem is remaining unsolved by this month, then I will decide to change to other better line.

I will study more at other related thread for better understanding.

I think both Maxis and Celcom are quite similar in term of their services. There is no advantage at all if you switch to the other service provider. I'm using Maxis and my wife is using Celcom.

TAC don't work with 0148** number may be,get a normal 019 number sell off the 014 number,throw it to the drain.

I will go to that last step (sell it off or throw to drain ) if problem still unsolved by end of the year. But, I really "sayang" this 014 line because I bought it during World Cup 2006 period and the sales girl was so sweet smile ... he he ....
