What's this promotion about? Saw it in HL connect and wondering if Wise card has no annual fee as well.

correct, considering Wise has 10% cb, easy for HLB to reject AF waiver outright with that excuse. Hence, maximizing the cb each month to "amortize" the AF for the year laugh.gif

it's possible to pay from your maybank to your hlb cc. just use ibg transfer and it only cost 11 cents (including gst) per transaction.

It brought me to inbox and requesting permission to contact me regarding this promotion. Sounds very fishy.

definitely not cheaper. Sam's and Jaya Grocer are targeting up-market customers.

poor ppl like us usually go giant/tesco/econsave/kkmart/99speedmart/etc.
of course, we're going to Sam's for 3 purposes: RM10 voucher for RM100 spending using CIMB cards, tng reload, and unifi/astro bill payments.
*
For TnG reload and Astro bill payments, which credit card to be use for best cashback in Sam's grocer?

yes, bill nombor = nombor invoice cukai (tax invoice number, which is to comply with GST).

ensure the ACCOUNT number is correct, bill number is not important. you can even put 0.

ok thanks! then izzit the correct way to split bill?

yes, Sam's under Grocery category.

if the aeon receipt/transaction description printed SMKT, then yes under Grocery.

I registered the card with Dining and Petrol as I don't spend much on Groceries, I wonder for Dining category, does it mean ALL restaurants that accept cc, including fast food, Chinese restaurant, Non-franchiese cafe etc?

If it doesn't then Groceries seems the best option..

not that simple.

must match with the eligible MCCs under Dining category.

2 ways to know if the particular transaction is eligible: Call CS to verify the MCC or wait till bill statement is out.
