CategorySpend10% Cashback
MobileRM 325RM 33
Cat ARM 325RM 33
Cat BRM 335RM 34
TotalRM 985RM 100

That means, spend a cumulative total of RM985 to achieve RM100 cashback, effective rate is about 10.15%  thumbup.gif

i've simulated the calculation (on paper), you need to all 3 categories to achieve highest cashback rate with the lowest spending  sweat.gif

QUOTE(janson_kaniaz @ May 29 2015, 11:17 AM)
so i assume total spending of RM995 can entitle for RM100 cash back.
*
method above is the achieve MAX cashback with LOWEST spending sweat.gif

Received this from HLB Connect.

"Dear Hong Leong Connect users,

Kindly be informed that with effect from 1 June 2015, the fee for Interbank Fund Transfer (IBFT) will be revised to RM0.50 per transaction. A Goods and Services Tax (GST) fee of RM0.03 will be applied on top of each transaction fee.

Thank you.

Did BNM revise the IBG rate?
*
IBG = Interbank Giro @ RM0.11 (incl 6% GST)

IBFT = (Instant) Interbank Fund Transfer @ RM0.53 (incl 6% GST)

Will it be too complicated to manage? Since HLB has two good cards - Wise and MACH.
*
no idea, need ur opinion since we aren't allowed to discuss/post non-Wise stuffs here wor.

both Essentials and GSC has no standalone topic, but the discussion amount is much lesser than Wise and MACH.

Anyone make bill payment through payonline with Wise card today?

I have made 2 bills with multiple transaction

Bill 1 - 3 times transaction, received email from payonline that status is not approved
Bill 2 - 7 times transaction, status approved

Would like to ask any reason Bill 1 not approved but approved on Bill 2?? Both bills have pay on the same time this morning.

Can I make transaction again on Bill 1 or wait until tomorrow??
*
bill 1, try later or tomorrow. most likely HLB is rejecting it.

i experienced the same for Digi postpaid bill. annoying as hell since i keep calling HLB to verify each "not approved" transaction didnt go thru. once i gotten 20+ failed transactions, confused the HLB CS kawkaw sweat.gif

can see that you are more annoying than me since failed for 20+ transaction...

oh? this is because of HLB, not issued with payonline?

okay, probably try it tomorrow
*
more related to HLB and the timing on the transaction. possibly account housekeeping/refresh, or donno-what biggrin.gif

all my failed transaction were successful with TAC (from payonline), yet rejected. asked payonline, they said it's HLB's issue. called HLB, they verified no successful trnsaction captured (phew!) and asked me to try again. later, went thru easily.

Received this

RM0.00 HLB Card: Congrats! RM41.96 CashBack fr last campaign will be credited to yr acct in Jun.Enrol for NEW 30% CashBack campaign SMS: WW to 66600 T&Capply

Funny things is i never use my wise to pay for dinning/departmental/groceries before. As my wise is only use to pay my maxis and TNB bill each month.

Thanks HLB!
*
yeah, very hard to track back which transaction qualified for this cashback since it can for transactions on weekdays (any spend except insurance/dining) or weekends (dining only)

better than nothing eh sweat.gif

I thought weekdays 3x spend is for qualified requirement for the 30% rebate and only dining transaction on weekend get the 30% rebate?

Which mean i need to spend on dining on weekend to get the 30% rebate right even i'm fullfil the 3x weekday spending.

Funny things is i 100% sure i never use my wise for for dining. Because my wise category is petrol and utilities. The Rm100 quota already not enough for my petrol+Maxis+ TNB bil. lol
*
hmm I was referring to the 'GST 6%/30% cashback' promo. cuz I got the same SMS and I found my name in this winners list.

my name is not in the previous 30% cashback promo.

I suspect both winners list are getting same SMS content hmm.gif

Just went to HL bank request for temporary ID to sign up online banking.

This is more faster way than received a post from HQ.

Noticed that the petrol I was pump on 30 May at night time, it was posted on 31 May, but not 1 June  cry.gif

But the next day I pump (31 May) again, it was posted on 2 June

general rule of thumb for HLB: posting date = transaction date + 1 or 2 days. avoid assuming same day posting biggrin.gif

I'm referring to transactions done say today but not yet posted by merchant.
Mind to share which option to select in HL Connect? I can only see Transaction history but when I select, it is empty.
I called the contact center and the guy told me I cannot view it online, need to call them if I want to know the unbilled transactions.
*
Transaction History only show posted (successful, claimed by merchant) transactions.

Your earlier question was "transactions not posted to statement yet", this herc was correct. Transactions posted BUT not yet billed in statement will be displayed in Trasaction History.

After statement is out, Transaction History will be empty and stored in Statement History instead.

now, if you are asking unposted transactions specifically, then the only way is to call CS. I always do this whenever i have doubt about a particular transaction i just did.

note, posting (to ur card/account) is usually 1-2 days after transaction. Listing in HLConnect is another +1 day.

read the T&Cs:

Weekday Eligible Transactions and Weekend Spend performed by the Supplementary Cardholders under the same Eligible Cardholder’s Credit Card Account shall be attributed into the Eligible Cardholder’s Weekday Eligible Transactions and Weekend Spend.

1 time sms is enough right? for this 30%?
last week sms w1 , this week still need sms w2?
should be no need right?
*
read the T&Cs:

To participate in the Campaign, Eligible Cardholders are required to perform one-time registration by sending a SMS to 66600 (“Designated Number”) at anytime during the Campaign Period (“SMS Registration”) in accordance with the instructions as follows

plausible explanation about the w1/w2/etc..

QUOTE(kelvinlzy @ May 29 2015, 03:18 PM)
These codes are sort of like a survey did by HLB to categorize the cardholders where they got the info about this 30% cash back campaign. Eg W1 is from sms blasting and you replied W1, meaning you fall into this category, W2 from email flyer/brochures, W3 from website, etc etc.

Btw anyone already completed their 3 weekday swipes? I almost forgot tongue.gif
