My living area is about 11x20, i have L box on ceiling amd also woth 4 set of downlight, each set have 2x18watt, if i want to watch movie, will switch on the downlight, if want bright will switch on the L box light. For normal brightness, think 4 set is good.

Hi. I'm looking for NSB 12w square downlight. Any online seller can recommend? What's the price currently? And anyone can help to provide the casing size and cutting size for it? Thanks.

Of all the discussion on LED downlight, it is mostly on cost, reliability and specs, but did anyone got the concern on downlight replacement? The spring design looks like installation friendly but don't think so is replacement friendly as it might damage the plaster ceiling... At 1st, I'm kinda interested to install LED downlight for my house but on 2nd look on the spring design, it might drive me away from LED downlight as thinking on the replacement in future... Or the spring might just looks solid and strong but in fact, it is kinda soft and will not damage the plaster ceiling? Any sifu here can share the thought on it? Thanks...

Use the conventional downlight with the LED bulb. Change the bulb only when spoil.

Looks like the option will be to get a light holder to hold either LED or CFL light bulb instead of getting those LED downlight which come in a set with spring that does not looks like plaster ceiling friendly... Any good brand to recommend on the light holder and light bulb (LED or CFL) ? Thanks.

Any good brand for light holder can recommend? Thanks. You don't need any brand for the downlight frame. You like the design and the look, just get it. I believe there is no branded downlight frame around. You only need to get a good LED bulb.

QUOTE(echoesian @ Oct 28 2016, 07:22 PM) Nowadays still can find those E27 casing with external choke ? E27 don't have with external choke. With external choke is different fitting and no led direct replacement. External choke fitting is like PLC, PLL, PLT, PLS housing type. My house are using external choke type can't recall is plc or PLS, and I have not change a single bulb since I move in (2011) touch wood. The only disadvantages is flicking when start after that is ok. This post has been edited by weikee: Oct 28 2016, 08:30 PM
