Of all the discussion on LED downlight, it is mostly on cost, reliability and specs, but did anyone got the concern on downlight replacement? The spring design looks like installation friendly but don't think so is replacement friendly as it might damage the plaster ceiling... At 1st, I'm kinda interested to install LED downlight for my house but on 2nd look on the spring design, it might drive me away from LED downlight as thinking on the replacement in future... Or the spring might just looks solid and strong but in fact, it is kinda soft and will not damage the plaster ceiling? Any sifu here can share the thought on it? Thanks...

QUOTE(ozak @ Oct 27 2016, 09:42 AM) Use the conventional downlight with the LED bulb. Change the bulb only when spoil. Hi ozak, Thanks for the comment and I thought of the same too where is it possible to get a light holder and plug in LED Bulb... Any good brand for light holder can recommend? Thanks.

QUOTE(weikee @ Oct 27 2016, 04:17 PM) Use cfl downlight with external choke. Reliable and long lasting. Hi weikee, Thanks for the comment. Looks like the option will be to get a light holder to hold either LED or CFL light bulb instead of getting those LED downlight which come in a set with spring that does not looks like plaster ceiling friendly... Any good brand to recommend on the light holder and light bulb (LED or CFL) ? Thanks.
