I came across this article about Symphony plans for a RM8 billion project in Sg Long, and it was held back because of the potential land acquiring by Selangor government.

Do you know which plot of land are they talking about?

(A) the land near Jalan Kuari Sg Long
(B) the land near Desa Budiman
© the land behind Sutera Pines (or beside Twin Palms Bungalow)
(D) Not A, B and C

Hearsay, McD already sealed the location. It's just opposite UTAR new building.

Current unused shop lots at that row are limited, not hard to spot one.

there is one near the nasi kandar restaurant, another one just opposite new Utar building i think used to be vegetarian restaurant, or the newly painted 3 storey shop same row with speed 99

all just 1 lot if i remember right... seems small for McD. Thought they need minimum 2 or totally over congestion.

Boss I think tough lah the project only has 60+ acres not commercial viable to build a flyover across Silk Highway. Compensation to Silk alone may be more than RM100m based on BMC vs GS Highway dispute 7 years ago.

Should be quarry land behind Desa Budiman for Langat 2 n EKVE. BTW are you Sg Long residents too noticed that you are buyer for both SEH n Sutera Pine.

My source told me McD has acquired land next to Shell between BMC n Sg Long main entrance. It should be something similar to BTHO.

Yes, I am a resident in Sg Long and have been staying here for about 6 years already

I still remember the first time I came to Sg Long, it was a gloomy day and the suddenly the sun shone brightly when I entered Sg Long! It was that sign that give me confident about the Sg Long development. Haha

It will be nice to have McD at the junction, that location is very strategic. I think the durian sellers will have to move their stalls in the near future.. Haha

oh that shell. the shl current office?

How about burger king, pizza hut, chatime? Lol

It has been 1 year since the McD news broke out and nothing been done on that land yet.
