I dont see any bleed screen on ur monitor. It just IPS Glow.
Every single IPS monitor have this issues.

Since X34A design curve, u can see more IPS glow to ur monitor compare to flat screen IPS monitor.

That why to reduce this problem, the new release X34P series design will get less curved - (1900R) compare to X34A (3800mm).

in bright room with black background also can see the bleed. lol

Need another X34A side by side compare biggrin.gif
It will always be light bleed on IPS/LCD, just that it's more obvious on ultra wide curved.

On my unit, all 4 edges will have light bleed even in bright room, but it's not obvious at all ( unless I put black background/image and focus my eyes on edges ).
I said my unit was good because I will not be distracted at all even watch movie with black bar at edges.

If it's any consolation, mine has it too. As mentioned previously, my brightness level is set at 39. My peasant eyes don't notice it but this is also due to the fact that I never work/game in the dark.

Mine also like that. Please focus the middle part instead of the corners. console.gif

But in a serious note... It didn't really bothers me as I focus mostly on the centre of the screen.

Play CS with black bar also didn't bothers me icon_rolleyes.gif

Mine could be similar if I turn off lights, but TBH not noticeable in normal lit room. I basically happy on day one.

Sometimes price does play a factor that makes someone fussy about something. The monitor price ain't cheap. Paying a premium price and hopefully you won't encounter this type of problems.

Maybe because I did a lot of researched before deciding to made a purchased. I know what I have to deal with. wink.gif

True, that price can get 4 good FHD monitor already. Same, I did research ( actually research and hesitate for many many months ) so I know that we're paying for niche product.
Also, I'm happier because the time I bought, X34A just released and I was surprised to get a X34A instead of X34 rclxms.gif

I did asked Harvey Norman staff regarding dead pixel issue. They said that Acer will only entertain warranty claim with min. of 5 dead pixel or above but of course you can always try your luck.

I bought a TV mount ( cheap but can hold 20kg ), can't use at all because X34 panel are too protruding and will fall face down. So yeah have to get real monitor mount/arm.
Wall mount don't think have any issue at all.
