kind of like a log press but he is just doing it with barbell

That's axle bar clean and press(one of the strongman exercise). I think it is proper form for that exercise. Just he practice with normal bar.

And he stands around 120kg~ now. Although he have that genetics, but he trained hard too. Genetics is excuse for loser. Anyone that trained really hard in their sports will never blame genetics when they lose or what.

FAT powerlifters use steroids to increase in strength.

that being said, I wonder if he's on juice. powerlifting and strongman event are not very well tested.

i think he was at it but then came off

you can dig back the old pict when he was 17 and 18, 15% bodyfat at 120kg is no joke lol, especially he only trained for like 2 to 3 years at 18 years old

well then it's all just speculation

Lol at his quote. You know i respect that he's a strong powerlifter and young guy. But hey, at the end of day it's up to u to train how you wanna look. So for me i train for aesthetics, symmetry and proportion. I don't want end up to be fat and skinny again.

Ive seen him train and he trains hard and eats well.

Just because someone lifts heavier doesnt mean they are always are on substance .

Maybe you didn't train hard enough? smile.gif or maybe you just dont know how to train.

I was in pro strongman competition last month, Sabah strongman competition is very competitive. ( http://orangkuat.caserosabah.com/home/ ) needless to say I am the last few places among the monters that I compete with. they are experienced(this is my first pro), they have their own equipments( I only train in the gym), they train hard ( I train hard, too), and they are on juiced( I am natural), and that 19 years old boy is as strong as those monsters.

and just because you train hard and eats well, doesnt mean you are not on juice. if everyone can be motherfarking strong with just train hard and eat well, the world will be a better place. heck even football players are on juice.

stronger than most guys is easy, I am too can confidently say I am stronger than most guys, I am probably the third strongest guy in my gym after the owner of the gym who is on juice and that one cop who is freking huge, because most guys are weak. but can you be that 1% strongest guy with just train hard and eat well and compete with juice guys? if you can, you are probably genetically strong.

are you in any competitive stngth sport?

Lol. Why would u compete yourself with the people in the gym. Being on juice really doesn't do much unless u eat well n train eell.

I know many out there are using juice. But that doesnt stop me from training hard n eating well.

i choose to believe and treat everyone as natural unless they say otherwise.

i trained hard too, i squatted 3 times a week and only reaching 2x bodyweight squat after 3 years of training sweat.gif

it must be either genetic or technology, like some angmo can just achieve 2x bodyweight squat in a year, chinese and north korean lifters going up to 4x bodyweight squat in 4 years icon_idea.gif

all the things you said are exactly my point

I didnt say he is on juice,I am just wondering if he is on it, and I too wouldnt know unless there are black and white tested. because some people lied about their juice usage.

my only issue is that a freaking strong 19 years old boy who is natural is too hard to believe. if he is natural, mad respect.

I wish you all the best in your MPA competition, heard there will be one soon. if its not tested, dont be sad if you lose biggrin.gif

overhead press(log press/giant dumbbell) is ok cuz in strongman you can jerk. strongman is not strict with form.

because short people got advantages, for the same 10kg gain, short people will look much beefy, tall people might need 15 to 20kg gain to get the same wideness

That's what I thought cause going to the gym would make one more aware of their diet.

But on the flip side I also thought maybe they didn't eat enuf so all the nutrients went to the bulk while the height suffered.
