Hmm..... that was nice considering it flagship-grade specs at a low price. Anyway, what are your preference on what phone are you going to use?

Currently holding a slowly lagging to death Note 3 so here I am asking now for advice:

1. Brand: As long as it's not Samsung, China Brand Phone (No offence Oneplus)

2. Budget: (New) Under RM2000/(Used) Under RM1500

3. Specs:
- 2/3 GB RAM
- 5 to 6 inch screen (Got too used to big screen phone)
- Lollipop with future update to Marshmallow
- MicroSD Card support
- Over 16GB Internal Storage
- LTE, NFC must
- Large Battery Capacity

4. What you need in the phone:
- Near pure stock android (if pure stock also ok)
- Can handle heavy use of browsing and media usage in a day
- Can be use over 2 years or so without performance hit (unlike ahem ahem Samsung ahem ahem)
- Doesn't get easily damaged by light knock
- Quick Charging, Wireless Charging, Waterproof can be optional

Also, since I'm changing phone, should I just sell my Note 3, swap if possible, trade in or just hands me down??

I guess that's all for now, would edit if necessary.

Why not, or you can look for below the Import Mi4C sets.

If you prefer pure Android, why don't just use custom rom on your phone? I believe there is a lot of good rom out there.

Only Nexus phone can get marshmallow at the moment. Maybe better wait a bit for nexus 5x and 6p to be officially launched.

Thing is most were either outdated and focused on touchwiz which I'm starting to hate. That makes rooting my Note 3 even more useless if there's not enough rom options. So I hope that getting a new phone away from samsung could at least last more longer than samsung itself

To request recommendation, what u need to post:

1. Brand -
any

2. Budget -
sky's the limit, but i'd prefer a value for money phone, don't wanna be paying rm3k for a phone which has similar specs to a rm1.5k phone (if phone available with telco installments do inform me)

3. Specs -
the current best.
no need brilliant selfie camera, but good front camera a must
phone with custom roms also can, so long it's bloody good
lots of RAM/ROM even better
expandable SD card slot preferrable

4. What you need in the phone
the best in the market.
planning to start playing games on mobile phone so good GPU and battery life is a must
size of phone doesn't matter.

OnePlus One (last year's flagship killer)
Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe (has good design coupled with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, but may have bad battery life)
LG Google Nexus 5 (last year's flagship)

The Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe is powered by a 64-bit Intel processor. Examples of 64-bit processors are like Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, Samsung Exynos 7420 and Intel Atom Z3580. Generally 64-bit processors perform quite better than 32-bit, and also you can have 4 GB of RAM inside.

Yeah that and the UI and the bloatware I had to endure. Also it already show signs after half a year of usage.

OPO -- need invite until OP2 came out, would consider but that would be last resort, along with LG G3 and nexus 6.
Nexus 5x and 6p -- Waiting for announcement right now.

I am in dilemma. Please enlighten me of which phone should I go for. Thanks.

Asus Zenfone 2 Laser
Lenovo Vibe Shot
Sony Xperia C5
Honor 7
Xiaomi Mi4C

Price is not a major considering issue here. Currently using Mi3. Want to have a maximum upgrade so that the next phone can tahan at least 2 years.

Honor 7 or Mi4C only.
I vote for Honor 7, unless you want to flash ROM/Root then only go for Mi4C.
