Don't hate the look if you don't plan to use it naked.

I vote for Redmi 2 Enhanced over the HTC, the HTC H526G specs are so LOW and not acceptable at all in 2015/2016.

You either can go for Redmi 2 Enhanced or top up a bit go for Lenovo A7000 Plus aka K3 Note (Around RM599 with voucher at Lazada.my)

1. Brand = Anything, as long as not from China.
2. Budget = RM 600 - 700
3. Specs. 2GB RAM minimum, good camera, got SD card slot.
4. What you need in the phone = 4G, LTE capability, gonna use it mostly for web surfing, watching online streaming video and some games.

Um..... that was a little too specific. But you can get an Asus Zenfone 2 ZE550ML in you can add RM 50 to your budget. Was okay, but beware of the not-so-good battery life. (Note: Asus is a Taiwanese company.)

Hey guys, need some recommendation for an android phone as I dropped my Mi3 and cracked the screen.
Enjoyed using it a lot and heartbroken it just had to go like that, the Mi3 worked like a charm. Even after a year still not buggy.

1. Brand.
-Any brand except for Samsung, HTC & Asus

2. Budget.
Below 1k

3. Specs.
Prefer 2GB/3GB Ram above
Camera MP of 12/13 above
Screen size of roughly 5'' or above

4. What you need in the phone
Durable enough (can last up to 2 years plus), do not play games on it but I do a lot of image processing (VSCO, PIXLR, Photoshop). Camera quality wise would prefer a good one as I do happen to take a lot of photos. Mi3 worked perfectly so would expect something with that quality. No buggy OS please as it all results in lag and stupid stuffs in it.

In short, something value for money. ( like the mi3 lol)

Have been taking a look at the Meizu MX4 & M2 Note, don't really like the Mi4i as the build quality feels somehow cheap

Thanks. rclxms.gif

But yeah, I read about some bloatware in it, along with the battery life issue until need to use some sort of 3rd party program, so I heard.

If that's the case, what about China-made phone? I'm not familiar with their brand until now.

Chinese phones? Um... Lenovo is okay but not too great due to the fact that they are abandoned despite the fact that lots of us use phone from Lenovo. As for Xiaomi, I haven't used it before although I am going to have one. Quite some people don't trust it for it being fragile, but forget about the gossip. By far it produces the best value-for-money phones. For Alcatel and Oppo, I don't know what I should say. But there's lots of Chinese smartphone companies, so that's why I do say it's complicated to advise and recommend you what to buy.

Hello sifus, for the RM900 price tag on Mi4i 32gb, is it the best I can get for this price range? Reviews are great, mostly only complaints on the MIUI and camera. Was thinking of getting this but still considering.

How much would that be? My maximum budget is probably 1k, but I'd prefer something along the 8xx price range. Mi4i is just there at 899 lol.
