1. Brand = Anything, as long as not from China.
2. Budget = RM 600 - 700
3. Specs.  2GB RAM minimum, good camera, got SD card slot.
4. What you need in the phone = 4G, LTE capability, gonna use it mostly for web surfing, watching online streaming video and some games.
*
Um..... that was a little too specific. But you can get an Asus Zenfone 2 ZE550ML in you can add RM 50 to your budget. Was okay, but beware of the not-so-good battery life. (Note: Asus is a Taiwanese company.)

Thanks.  rclxms.gif

But yeah, I read about some bloatware in it, along with the battery life issue until need to use some sort of 3rd party program, so I heard.

If that's the case, what about China-made phone? I'm not familiar with their brand until now.
*
Chinese phones? Um... Lenovo is okay but not too great due to the fact that they are abandoned despite the fact that lots of us use phone from Lenovo. As for Xiaomi, I haven't used it before although I am going to have one. Quite some people don't trust it for it being fragile, but forget about the gossip. By far it produces the best value-for-money phones. For Alcatel and Oppo, I don't know what I should say. But there's lots of Chinese smartphone companies, so that's why I do say it's complicated to advise and recommend you what to buy.

Hmm..... that was nice considering it flagship-grade specs at a low price. Anyway, what are your preference on what phone are you going to use?

To request recommendation, what u need to post:

1. Brand -
any

2. Budget -
sky's the limit, but i'd prefer a value for money phone, don't wanna be paying rm3k for a phone which has similar specs to a rm1.5k phone (if phone available with telco installments do inform me)

3. Specs -
the current best.
no need brilliant selfie camera, but good front camera a must
phone with custom roms also can, so long it's bloody good
lots of RAM/ROM even better
expandable SD card slot preferrable

4. What you need in the phone
the best in the market.
planning to start playing games on mobile phone so good GPU and battery life is a must
size of phone doesn't matter.
*
OnePlus One (last year's flagship killer)
Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe (has good design coupled with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, but may have bad battery life)
LG Google Nexus 5 (last year's flagship)

Which ones are 64bit?

I heard 64bit doesn't lag.
*
The Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe is powered by a 64-bit Intel processor. Examples of 64-bit processors are like Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, Samsung Exynos 7420 and Intel Atom Z3580. Generally 64-bit processors perform quite better than 32-bit, and also you can have 4 GB of RAM inside.

1. Brand. Any
2. Budget. 450
3. Specs. anything with good camera will do with 5 inch
4. What you need in the phone : 5 inch screen , Good camera 8mp , loud sound , durable
*
Lenovo A5000
Leagoo Lead 5

Additionally, you can buy the enhanced variant of the Xiaomi Redmi 2 at RM 459 but it's has a 4.7 inches screen. But I think it would be worth it.

bro any idea wat price and when nexus6p release?...how if 6p compare with ip6s?
*
The Nexus 6P starts from US$500 in US. iOS is designed for simplicity while Android is designed for expressing your style. But of course, it's different so it's up to you.

Hey all..

Sadly I just lost my phone and now am using aa secondhandd Samsung s5. So not in too much rush to get a new one but do want one eventually coZ I loved my previous honor 6 so much more.

But I don't really want to get another honor 6 but its basically what I look for in a phone. Very bang for buck and reliable. Virtually no lag or bad experience at all.

What phone would you recommend? Mr sir mudkipryan gave an excellent recommendation for the honor 6. Any current phones that good?

Price range about 1k? Not in too much rush so can wait for soon to release phone. Chipset is important coz I use waze a lot. I heard mediatek no good for that.
*
You can have OPPO Find 7 at RM 998 (yes, you got it) or Xiaomi Mi 4. Both are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processors.

Isn't find7 quite expensive previously? How much cheaper is it now?
*
It was about RM 1798 if I weren't mistaken. That would be a good deal given the fact that you get a Quad HD screen and flagship-like performance (as it was last year's flagship). Just be careful about the battery life- it can be pretty bad because of the 2K screen.

Because you could have gotten something better at this price point. But this one was okay, so you should at least keep an eye on it.

Under RM 1000? I guess Lenovo VIBE X2 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is in par with the J7 at a lower price.

Hi guys,

My nexus 4 broke down. Served me more than 1 year. I need a good phone that can serve me long long time. So I definitely want a flagship phone for my next phone. I'm mulling between iPhone 6 and Xperia Z5 but maybe u guys got better suggestions or can help me choose between these two smile.gif

iphone 6s is a no-no since very expensive tongue.gif

I'm a normal user. Just using phone for camera,  music, browsing,  youtube, chat, etc. No game at all. Data on 24/7. I just need a phone that's good out of the box and no lag lag. Thanks tongue.gif

Go with the iPhone 6. When they roll out the updates, you can get it instantly.

Brand: Any
Budget: Below 1k
Specs: Screen >= 5 inches, RAM >= 2 GB
What you need in the phone: Good enough for daily usage + some gaming

Is Redmi Note 2 better than Mi4i ?
Any other recommendation besides XiaoMi ?

Thanks in advance.
*
The Redmi Note 2 is somewhat better than the Mi4i. For other recommendations, I think Asus Zenfone 2 (ZE551ML ,2 GB variant) would be okay with poor battery life aside.

Hi guys

just question here

redmi note 2 (imported) or A7000 plus or alcatel one touch flash plus? Or any better suggestion?
my budget around 450 - 600 using lazada promo code and prefer 5.5inch as i am already old so need bigger screen.. :-)

Thanks
*
Xiaomi Redmi Note 2. Has a better value but might have no warranty. The other two also make a good competition as well.

Between Asus Zenfone 2 4gb/64gb, Huawei Hono7 and Honor 6 Plus, having the same price on their respective official online store, which is better?
After checking reviews, Zenfone 2 seems like a jack of all trades phone. Honor 6 Plus and 7 may be too premium of my taste, spec wise, minus the internal storage size, they're amazing.
*
Choose the Asus Zenfone 2 if you need a kick in performance. As for the other two, these should be okay by design but again, it depends on your decision.

1. Brand. - Any Android phone.
2. Budget - Around Rm600
3. Specs.
-Ram: 1gb and above
-camera : 8mp for rear camera.. And nice front camera
-speaker must be loud..

My dad want to upgrade from asus zenfone 4.. Zf4 speaker too soft, front camera only vga.. He need a nice front camera fone, and loud speaker..

For now, zenfone laser ze500kg is his choice. Any other suggestion?
*
Xiaomi Redmi 2 Enhanced would be just right. But beware, prices recent went up to RM 529, so chances are that it may not look as worth it. But this one would actually worth the spend.
