This is my scenario.. I'm having an s5,plan to (swap only) with a dual sim dual standby lte phone (sim 2 also lte).. Want the specs should be equal or better than my s5..Thx again in advance

Nexus 6P @ RM2698. Last night got FireVoucher discount RM250. Still RM1k expensive away from your current budget.

If you feel Note 3 are too far away from current timeline. Look for Note 4. Still very good flagships up to date.
Best price can find around RM1888.

If you like Stock Android. Motorola or OnePlus are your choice too.

But not here yet, and if I really want it so hard (not that) I must pay shipping from china and make it out of my budget already.

Asus Zenfone 2. It's almost as equal as the S5.

best camera. add mi 4i.
mx4 have best loudspeaker.
a711 for fingerprint.
m2 note nice but slow soc.
padfone s have small battery.

i opt for a711.
p1m focus on the battery life.

Zenfone 2 sim 2 not lte...

hi, im also use note 1 for 3 years ++, quite annoyed with its lag and overheating even though i already change kernel, custom ROM etc. so yesterday for my bday I bought Vivo Y37 (released in August 2015). U can consider this one even this one have 2gb ram only.

Brand: Vivo, Model Y37
Budget: RM 1299-1399
Specs: Ram 2GB, Processor Snapdragon 615 octa-core 1.4GHz, Cam 13MP rear/5 MP front, Screen 5.5" . Have extra slot which u can put memory card up to 128GB OR put a Nano SIM.

For gaming, I have not tested much yet, I just install COC and Sky force for now. both shows good response, with no heat as hot as in Note.

SO your point is? Suggest waht phone for you to swap?
Swapping phone is already rare nowadys. PLus swapping with yesteryear flagship makes a slimmer chance.

it's overrated heck... i bought OnePlus X for my girlfriend's iPhone 5 due her iP5 dead for few days ago

just 'punched' my wallet around 1350 [1299 local set + 50 bucks for temper SP and case]

so far so good for her as well

There are many AP sets around if redmi note 3 is not officially brought into MY market. Usually have 2 yr warranty but need to check warranty coverage n etc for AP set.

Redmi Note 2 for performance, P70 if want better battery life.

Why not the same Lenovo A7000Plus? Now Rm599 at Lazada. Else, Redmi Note 2 is also a good choice.

Samsung Note 4 or 5. I really like a phone with stylus
