Hi guys,

Can I get a phone recommendation please?

1. Brand.
No brand really comes to mind. Open to all

2. Budget.
Preferably less than 1k.

3. Specs. (Ram/Proc/Camera's MP/Screen size)
The only requirement is large enough internal storage to store some apps and all my spotify songs

4. What you need in the phone (Good camera/good sound quality/durable)
Primary concern is battery life. My usage isn't that heavy. No games, no streaming. Just waze and chat apps. Sometimes browse net or reddit when stuck in jam.

Secondary concern is phone heating. I don't like it when using waze the phone gets hot. My old old old huawei honor use to get hot on waze and extended talk usage.

The Kirin 935's GPU is weaker than what Qualcomm can offer. Snapdragon 615's GPU isn't good as well.
With that price, you need to target for Snapdragon 800/801 phones.

Choices : Z3 (Very good battery life) / Z3 Compact (Small screen, but you get extremely good battery life) / HTC M8 Eye (Aluminium chassis)

Hi guys, need some help:

1. Brand - Any
2. Budget - Preferably <500, can be 2nd hand
3. Specs. - Screen bigger than 4.5"
4. What you need in the phone - Want to buy a spare phone for my other SIM card, will be mainly using it when travel for tethering, google maps, calls & text messaging. I'm looking for a phone that's as slim/light as possible(coz I'll be putting it + my main phone in the same pocket) with good battery life(decent when in-use, long standby time).

Budget RM1700 can easily get Xiaomi Mi Note(RM1549)/Oneplus One, or Oneplus Two(RM1759)already.
Inside all this are SD801 and SD810 processor, confirm superior in gaming.
Get the Lazada code voucher discount RM200.

Oneplus One actually is more superior than OPX with almost similar price, 64GB storage, 3GB RAM, SD801 2.5Ghz.
Then, it still has NFC feature.

Of course Redmi Note 2 is the better option.
Redmi Note 2 comes with 1080p screen, 16GB storage, and removable battery.
Other at this price range is Meizu M2 Note, Lenovo A7000 Plus.

Still at this range, maybe you can consider Meizu MX4 16GB or 32GB variant.

Hi, meet you again here.
Benchmark don't tell the whole story la.

Still, SD800 series (SD801/SD805/SD808) guarantee much superior performance, even though benchmark loose to mid range Mediatek chip set.

Ya, SD615 actually is not up to par, maybe still slower than SD600.
See my friend Samsung Galaxy A8 lagging is one of my big doubt, look much slower than my old Galaxy S4 Active (the SD600 variant)

I would say Oneplus Two is the most powerful among those, SD810.
Beside, this Oneplus Two is 64GB storage, 3GB RAM, fingerprint scanner, 5.5", beat the whole competition.

Only thing it may lack are NFC and IR Blaster, no Micro SD slot.
