If you just chat with gf, nowadays all call plan got family plan, where you just pay RM30-50 a month, you can call unlimited between those 2 numbers...and the RM30-50 can be used to call to other numbers...

hi all, this thread has been cold for a while.. anymore maxis staff around? i'm due for an interview at menara maxis this friday.. any pointers? will there be an exam? any particular questions i should take note off? all help is most appreciated. Thanks.

What do you know about broadband?

Have you any experience using any diagnostic and network monitoring tools before?
Do you have knowledge in SQL or any database usage?
Have you any knowledge in GSM and UMTS specs?
Any knowledge in SS7 protocol and Cisco IOS?

well.. i'm from a totally different industry all together.. so network monitoring and diagnostics are pretty new to me.. my knowledge in broadband, GSM, UMTS are at the general level.. hmm.. looking pretty slim huh.. are you in maxis?

can anyone share with me or anyone interested wat is it like working in maxis?

I was long way back in 2006 , at that time there was this Maxis Academy handling interns..

Hi there, I got an (informal) internship offer from Maxis too. Informal as they said they received my application and called me to ask if I'm still interested in the internship. Was also asked to wait for further calls from them.

According to them, I will be under Maxis Broadband. I did ask about job scopes but I got a "broad" reply.

If anyone reading this is doing / used to do internship with Maxis, please share your experiences.

Add-on : One thing that I'm curious is that the call I got was from a 017 number ...

I've received an offer in Maxis for internship soon too, under NEO division. However i have another 2 offers, in construction (Sunway Construction) and in manufacturing related to power industry (ABB).
I'm so confused in which to accept. as they are of totally different field.
I'm currently taking E&E engineering. I need to give my reply very soon by this week.
Any advice, anyone? :S

i was offered after the 1st interview..i wonder isit because no other candidates besides me applying or wat..coz there should be 2nd n 3rd interview from what i heard..honestly i feel the 1st interview i went through is moderate only.

can share how is the office norm in maxis?? alot of negative feedbacks from here..besides the office politics..are the collegues supportive and friendly enough towards new hires??any welcoming new hires lunch or etc??

increment is bad in the sense that 1% increment??what are the normal range of increment that a staff would normally get in finance n acct dept?
