*
not similar la...theyre the exact same case tongue.gif its just a rebadge. only diff with urs is like u said the side panel and also the GT sticker in front biggrin.gif

anyway, hows the vibrations on ur HDD cage? both me n Doom (ex-owner of fo33il's case) had problems with cage vibrating (noisy!) but we found a cheap way of solving it.

u having the same problems with urs?

no need to be confused ler... im guessing GT are the OEM makers of the Lian Li 007 chassis.

my GT is the same exact case as the PC-007. Lian Li site states it as the PC-007 (OEM)

they even sell the side panel in windowed and non-windowed version. ATE has them. only thing is stock availability

Hi..got myself here pc-7s. I'm wondering whether you guys have noise problem with lianli cases? Both my 120mm fan running at around 1400rpm and are giving audible noise.
*
u sure its the fans?? the stock fans might be a lil noisy...at least that was the case with me n doom when we got our OEM PC007B.

also, the HDD cage of ur case has vibration issues. its the same exact cage as the PC007. solution for the HDD cage can also be found in the thread i mentioned to serez (linked in my sig)

Ever plan to paint inside black?

initially when i first bought it yes...but then decided against it... the silver alu is already damn nice.. and i rarely play or even see the internals to even care anymore laugh.gif

havent done anything related to case mod in a very long time tongue.gif

u actually removed the filter??? imagine how often u have to clean ur internals without the filter laugh.gif

heres mine after on 24/7 for exactly 7 days with the fan @ 5v
user posted image

and as for alu case absorbing heat better...its just a myth (read: BULL) the case DOES NOT do anything for temps coz it does not come in direct contact with components.

mADmAN can i ask 1 thing? I ask at many thread also no 1 answer it.
If put the filter like yours is it will block some air flow ?
*
of course it does...by quite abit too. but the flow is still acceptable for me.. another thing to note...that when the this particular filter is installed u get a dead zone in the centre...more than usual actually...hard to explain...refer pic...

user posted image

because of this...i had to put my HDD on the top of the HDD cage in the PC-007 OEM to make sure it gets some air going over it. bottom of the cage will also get some air flow..but i used the top la tongue.gif

shocking.gif is that yours? shocking.gif

why wanna put mesh filter for the exhaust? don't wanna the dust to get out ka laugh.gif

better remove those filter & replace it with finger guard lor
*
laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

yeah its mine....but that pic was taken when the case was still brand spanking new...ive removed it and replaced it with a fingerguard (now using one on each side of the fan)....the mesh thingy has only seen like 3-5 minutes of airflow tongue.gif

QUOTE(akachester @ May 23 2007, 04:51 PM)
@ mADmAN

But fan grills does not help in reducing dust from entering the casing which is a big problem for me.
*
then u should get this from uglyvamp...

user posted image

its good in filtering and doesnt block out so much air flow...im using it for my fan on my XP-120.

reason why im not using it on my front is because my room has a lot of dust and i need something thats easier to remove and clean. if i use the one in the pic i have to unscrew it every time i wanna clean it off doh.gif
