i think just make sure the intake and exhaust cfm is equal.

do u have any idea how difficult it is to do that??? yeah u can use both the same EXACT fans for front intake and rear exhaust.

but even if u do that, did u take into account ur PSU fan? thats exhausting air oso...or if ur using the blower type cooler for ur GC (eg 8800 cooler) that one oso exhausting air...

u have to know the figures for every fan...AND the amount of resistance they have to go through in order to get a good reading.

imho best way to get a positive pressure case...is set all fans to intake and just leave the PSU and/or GC to do the exhausting. tongue.gif

8800GTS tend to run idle at slightly higher temperature after using for some time..........

u might want to turn ur fan speed up from 60 % to may be 80%, it's still very quiet for me.......mine idle at 63 shoot up to 67 before i manually tweak the fan, after that goes down to 60 only......hehe
*
60 only??? dammit.... mine idles at 70 (60% fan)even with AC room...at first when right after install it was idling at 61..now after its had some usage its steady around 69-70. friggin weird ler...somemore i plan to SLi the cards later on in about 1-2 months time.

isk. god knows it its my case thats the issue... kinda looking and thinking to get another bigger case or not now oso...

problem with my room is dust. (i change my filter every week). so i gonna need one where its easy to replace the fan filter etc etc...only thing that i can think of that suits my needs so far would be the PC-G70.

the TJ09 would also be perfect...but the dust that'll come in from the side intakes is gonna be massive...and i really dun wanna have to open up and clean my case every week...sigh.

Basically it has nth to do with the age of the graphic card ...

A graphic card only start aging after 2 years and above ...

The best solution is to get some opening at ur side panel ..of course it would be a waste for the GT case u are using now.

Just grab another case with side fan to fit in ur rig and cool off the 8800GTS ...

i tried opening my sidepanel once... but no fan blowing to it just side panel open in AC room only......no changes in idle temps...doh.gif

yep...mine overclocked version.... and yeah...side panel open or close the temps remain the same...think if i have the time and if i rajin i try to open the side panel again and have a fan blowing towards the GC. see if the temp improves or not

EDIT: just remembered that arc_archive SLI'd the same exact card as mine in his CM Stacker and his SECOND GC was idling at 70+.
