News : Crest Builder - Property segment, 40% to top line by year-end

Alam Sanjung take up rate 70% - balance still have 30% unsold

KUALA LUMPUR: Crest Builder Holdings Bhd expects its property segment to contribute 50% to the group's top line, from the current 40%, by year-end.



Executive director Eric Yong Shang Ming said, to date, the construction segment, the company's core activity, contributed 60% to revenue and the property segment 40%. However, the property segment contributed 70% to the bottom line and the construction division 30%.



Yong said the target will be driven by sales in the property segment.



"We will be aggressive in pushing the segment forward as we see the property sales picking up two months after the introduction of the Goods and Services Tax," he told reporters after the group's annual general meeting here yesterday.



He said the company expects to start the fifth phase construction of Hijauan Residensi, a project which consists of 646 residential units in August this year.



"Total gross development value of our projects for this year is RM320 million and one of our projects, Alam Sanjung, which is located in Shah Alam, has recorded a 70% take-up rate," he said.



Yong expects the performance of the group's construction segment to be better this year, supported by its external order book, which stands at RM350 million.



"However, we are actively bidding for projects, including in Sabah as well as testing the Penang market, through participating in tenders for projects in that state," he said, adding that company's success rate in bidding for project is between 10% and 20%. – Bernama

Think twice when you decide to buy cost too high. Few thing need to take note. 1. Terrible traffic in the morning. 2. Suck management maintained record in alam idaman. 3. Close to nirvana got smell body burning. 4.too closed to industry area very bad smell. 5. 20 cent sinking and maintenance sure increase since alam idaman is asking for 25 cent. 6. Water bill too high. 7. Cb land very bad to help convert starta title. 8. Still many unit in alam idaman investors think twice. It only my 2 cent.

friend got units thr n say some facilities not even delivered completely.. he said wil stay away from BC land project.. las selling price of 490psf is madness..mus pray hard if can transact at 450psf! brows.gif brows.gif

The end product doesn't look like worth that much. Outlook macam mid low end apartment or should call it flat. Think only worth around Rm250psf to rm300psf ini macam. Just spread the news n avoid Tis Jialat developer at all cost. Don't let other be next victim.

They use cheap material.... cut the cost....thats why the window look smaller... thats the reasons why the property division.....earning 40%..... but give them 70% profit as reported in thestar....... selling 490psf service apartments.....but delivered 200psf flats.. aka rob from poor .day light........ while the poor public and staffs who bought this service apartment worry about what food on the table..... just add them into...Crest Builder CB Land = bad developer.

no doubt their progress very fast...

I booked this and metia about the same time...

progress for 2 project diff very much...

But I doubt their workmanship.. hopefully not too bad
