Oh Hi all again! By the way my casing front usb slot and speaker slot seemed to have some problem, is there something to add on the dvd drive compartment for USB port? If it does, what does it called and roughly how much will it be?

For reference to explain my needs:

I need USB 2.0/3.0 and speaker/mic slot only

I will say Sri Computer is the best bet, if they don't have then probably others also don't.

Cause those type of thing is china OEMed, and Sri Computer import really lots of misc PC accessorizes from China.

p/s: May be give Viewnet a walk too, cause they do carry some Silverstone's stuffs, and Silverstone do have one available (but mind you that they are not going to be as cheap as China made).

+1

I came across the range of products his carry, many misc accessorizes from China which other shops don't bother to carry. A good option for those despo for local solution.

I am curious, does a cheap cooler help with keeping the rig cool at all? Looking at Deepcool MAXXA S4

You don't keep your rig cool with CPU cooler, you use fans and cable management for it.

But if you mean to say CPU, almost any 3rd party cooler will be better than Intel stock heatsink (provided it is those normal tower sized heatsink, not those low profile one).

And for Deepcool, it is a Chinabrand, so its pricing is pretty affordable. They offer respectable performance for their price too. But before making your purchase, do your research on the particular model you looking for first.

You get basically what you pay for. Cheap, raw performance out of box. Reference cooler do tend to be a little louder compared to non-reference ones, but they're still relatively ok.

I went to sri computer but couldn't find any. Ended up found one in Viewnet at RM89 for 2 USB 3.0 slot and a HDD/SSD holder inside. Quite expensive but I got one unit for the front USB 3.0 speed

That's a whole different story... sweat.gif

But for RM90, why don't you directly get a proper case with front USB3.0 support?

Initially I left my computer at jayacom to install the new motherboard only I go and look for the usb port at viewnet. After buying it only jayacom tell me my casing broken and I bought the port already haha, so no choice and I don't think viewnet is going to accept refund for it lol

LOL, but aren't you suppose to look for one with audio ports at first, instead you settled for one with only USB then only back to Jayacom realizing you need a new case? rclxub.gif

But well, enjoy your new case and front facing USB 3.0. laugh.gif
