To all utorrent supporter here... thumbup.gif

I am newbies to here.... want to ask a question.... tongue.gif

My default download speeds is about 20-50kbps.... and I never did port forwarding cause the router (D-Link DSL-2540T) is not mine....and I share the streamyx service with my houser-mate... and i have made the agreement to use torrent downloading with him already...

2 days ago... i accidentally unplug the network cable of my computer (at that time the dl speed is about 40kbps... ) , after I replug it again.... utorrent seems to take a very long time to recover to it's regular speed.... and the following error alway show "Disconnect:Peer error:offline (timeout)" during the peer connection

now already 48 hours pass... each of my torrent just manage to connect 2 to 3 peers only...some even dont have... this was really differ to previous situation where each torrent manage to get around 10 to 20 peers and the speed is 5-10kbps per torrent..... cry.gif

I didn't make any critical changes to the program setting also....

What could be the possible reason that cause this ?? except my house-mate is blocking the torrent service.... sweat.gif

and what are the steps should I take ??

Thanks ya for viewing and give suggestions !!!

what I meant is these ..

user posted image The green light means all is OK and downloads are at their best.
user posted image The yellow light means that you have no current incoming connections. Should do port forwarding. It's downloading but not at best speed.
user posted image I suppose it wasn't this one at all

Hopefully this meant something icon_rolleyes.gif

you mean you juz connected with 72 seeder and 65 leecher ONLY??
i cant even have connected more than 200 peer before throttle even that task got more than 2000 peer
there is always a limit for a peer you connected
even you have make the "peer connect limit" to unlimited
but due to our bandwidth limit, there sure will have a limitation

Sorry ar if disturb you guys. I'm a bitorrent newbie and I wanna ask a newbie question. My download speed av is around 25-35kbps (only downloading one torrent at the moment). So, what I wanna ask is, if I open another torrent to download something else, will it affect my download speed?

Last time I use Azureus to download the same series, it took me 5 days just to reach 60% and now using uTorrent, in two days I've reached 60% liao.

Thing is, in the former torrent client, I've been downloading 2 torrents at the same time. So I was wondering is it'll affect my d/load speed if I d/load another torrent.

(>_<)

I think what he meant was Peers: 72 (2980). I think it is standard laa to have that amount of peer. Port forwarding? Refer to my post #487, does any of those icons look familiar to you? If you have the green one, you don't need to do port forwarding as it already does. Yellow one need to do port forwarding smile.gif
