hi, i;m having a problem now....
when i open utorrent to dl stuff, my whole internet connection slows down until dc.
when i off the utorrent, it will reconnect again and speed up.
without the utorrent, i can surf like norm
i'm currently portforwarding and using paw. just changed the router to a new 1

the speed will go up to 30+k and goes dwn again, ending up at 0.2k... n then i dc

fyi, i can dl at nice speeds without dc whn no1 else is using the router..

any ideas?
thx
*
i think you need to limit the bandwitdh of download ,
maybe half of your connection speed

I can't continue to step 10 if I'm stuck at step 4. My problem here is setting up static ip address.... Please help!!!

hi bro like i said before,
static ip u can set by look at gateway number of your modem/router,
ipconfig show all that,

let say your gateway number is 192.168.1.1
so u can set the static ip to 192.168.1.3
subnet mask to 255.255.255.0
and gateway to 192.168.1.1

for dns server use default from tmnet,
it is

primary dns server :202.188.0.133
secondry dns server:202.188.1.5

oh~~~ So gateway number is another name for static ip lah. I didn't know. Sorry ar
*
not laa..
gateway is different from static ip,
gateway is the main number of ip group,
like 192.168.1.1
and the static ip can be from 192.168.1.2 up to 192.168.1.255

Yeah, firewalls are offed and the ip was same as last time.
*
have u try to forward different port??
not yet ?

user posted imageThe yellow light means that you have no current incoming connections. If this never turns green, this means that your port is not forwarded. The best way to check is with the µTorrent port checker, found in the Speed Guide. If the port checker says your port is open, then everything is most likely fine.
