greetings people. i bought this item at lazada and receive the item on last friday. priced at RM 579 and use the lazada RM 75 coupon code discount GETAPP75 (now the phone price already increase to 600+. the lazada link). quite a bargain i think. mine is white, with yellow-ish coating.

i believe mine was from china, with china charger pin and documentation.

things to highlight:
1. the 'factory' rom i suspect it was modified with numbers of malware, thus need to flash other rom
2. official vibe ui rom is also crap. i use google now launcher, and can't use most of the widget (settings force close error). same also with other launcher.
3. tried limeonchelo novamod, but not quite happy with it. now using aosp
4. 1st sim is 2g/3g/4g capable. 2nd sim only 2g
5. still monitoring on the battery performance

this is bcoz u put card in both sim. put only 4g sim in 2nd slot & u'll get 4g in sim2 like here...

Battery discharging relatively fast. I just switch to 3G on data and let see how the difference.

coming from a lenovo p780 user, i found the external speaker of the k3 note to be on the soft side. need to turn on the speaker to almost max to hear movie conversation.

the default snap it camera application doesnt offer any option to choose resolution. also found hp to get hotter than the p780.

how to get the whatsapp led to show LED notification? on my p780, i can choose silent for group notifications, but i don't find it on the k3. If I were to turn profile to vibrate , all the group notification will still vibrate even though i have set vibrate to OFF inside whatsapp

for the lock screen, previously there's an option in which you can disable power button instantly locks, but now no longer on the k3

1512 rom s*ck......go update it but do it at your own risk.
I m using 1524 ST on my K3N.....although it is not 100% perfect but very happy with it.

- install 3rd party camera
- if u want LED for wasap, u need to install custom rom (ie : LIMONCHELO)

Anyone here suffer slow charging if use power bank?

What powerbank that u use to charge your K3N? I tried 1 time with mi powerbank......just slightly slower than using power adaptor. This phone battery battery capacity is high.....must use high output powerbank to charge it. If use 1A powerbank output sure very slow.

Not mine but my colleague. He also use mi powerbank. i hope this phone does not picky with charger like zenfone 2. BTW i'm buying this or zenfone 2 ze550ml this weekend.

I m using original samsung note2 charger to charge it......it takes bout 2 hour to fully charged.
