I just got my mibox s.. question do u guys now why every time I play movies in Amazonprime or Netflix the resolution is like zoom-Ed out on my hisense tv? Got like two black bar on top and bottom.. but after a while or certain movies, it’s fully zoomed to the tv edge to edge. Any settings to set to the miboxS?

I got Mibox3 Enchanced version, since all the movie in front cannot watch(due of the China Region Restrict) do anyone root them and delete of them ? because it is useless.


Also how your guy install Astro on the go? i try download latest APK it also cannot work... just keep loading never go the interface

I have sideload installed Astro Go and Set Orientation app in my Mibox S international version.

When I click sign in, it prompts me "There are no apps that can do this", then it doesnt show me the login page like what we have in mobile app.

Any other apps that I need to sideload first or we can only use specific Astro Go version?

Guys, seek your advice on this matter; what's the best resolution I need to choose for a 4K TV on Mi Box S? Currently I have setup as automatic and I don't think I'm utilizing the 4K resolution with this option.

Do you have Google Chrome installed? I'm also using Mi Box S and I don't have any issues with AOTG ver 8.6.2. Only concern I have is that video layout shows as potrait

oh yes forgot to update my post, it works now after I installed Chrome.

For video layout portrait issue, download Set Orientation 1.1.4. Then you can set layout as Landscape.

anybody knows if bluetooth 5.0 gadgets are able to connect to mibox3?

Correct, set as landscape but AOTG still shows Potrait layout...so I rest my case, maybe AOTG itself has issues.

this AOTG and unifi play tv is build for full normal android, where ur mi box is running android TV, its a strip down version of full android..
cant blame them since that apps not officially for android TV.

using orientation apps does fix this issue.( mine is landscape layout) just that it still require a mouse navigation.

hi all, my mibox 3 is starts acting up on me recently.
it started off with storage running low especially if i ran and watched AOTG. This was simply fixed by a manual restart most of the time.
but just recently, it would go into recovery mode or keep rebooting on its own. and when in Recovery, my remote does not responds and i'll have to restart the power.

Any one facing similar issue or know of solution to this?
