Ok on my Potrait Issue on AOTG...I notice HD channels displayed correctly as Landscape. Only those not HD channels comes up with Potrait layout. Anyone facing the same issue or it's common.

I knew this is an issue with Mi Box and I'm using Mi Box S. What I did in a short phrase - before I installed any APK's, I have attached an 3.0 USB SANDisk pendrive, format it and make it as adoptable storage on the MI Box S. After that I install all the necessary APK's I need - AOTG, KODI, PlayTV@Unifi and etc. All runs fine from the pendrive except "PlayTV@Unifi " so I move this back to the internal storage of the MI Box S and it works fine as well.

The new ATOG 8.2.6 have issue with non HD. It will display in portrait. MI Box can't fixed that. ATOG need to fixed that especially on Android TV box

Hi guys, i have mi box s with ugreen ethernet usb3.0 hub. What speed do you get through the ethernet? Mine seems slower than my wifi connection.

Since my mi box s is in my bedroom, i use tp-link range extender and get only 10-20 mbps on wifi. But using ugreen Ethernet hub i get 40-50 mbps. So vast improvement for me!

I'm sub to 100MB and I'm getting the same thing on my ugreen ethernet, tested using speedtest.net apk. Using the Dlink router provided by my provider which I think it's sucks
No budget to get a new one yet though

My unifi package is 800mbps. I got almost 150mbps through wifi. But somehow on ugreen ethernet 90 for download & 120mbps for upload. Weird.

maybe something in your router setup u need to check?

Likely the box is not gigabit since there is not ethernet port.

Ethernet port, if giga will do 1gbps, non giga limited to 100mbps.

AC wifi, u can get 200-300mbps with midrange routers, 500 with expnsensive routers.

I doubt my router is the issue here. Tested using my laptop i able to achieve the speed. I think it is whether the ugreen adapter or mi box itself.

same case with me. mi box 3. ugreen ethernet is slower than wifi.
since i don't do 4K stuff, so is not much different anyway

Sifu, do you know if this is compatible with MI Box S-->TP-LINK UE330 Gigabit Ethernet LAN Converter + 3 USB 3.0 HUB Adapter? Since it comes with "Gigabit Ethernet".

i am not sure as i have never used this gadget.

but i would think it can be used to enable ethernet connection but does not "upgrade" the capability of the box itself.

many devices incl smart tv's and boxes are such - non gigabit max 100mbps but wifi is AC, can do higher with 5ghz.

there are other boxes come with gigabit ethernet ports, will be listed in the specs.

My dad Xiao mi box used to be able to watch al movie , but recently unable to load

Have 100mb connection , so dun think is the problem with the broadband

Am thinking if I Jailbreak it will it be able to bypass the geo restriction ?

hi everyone. mibox S user here.
i use iflix in my box. but video quality is so bad. 480p at best.
i use Amazon fireTV before. had no problem with iflix. everything in HD.
is anyone having the same problem here?
