Applied CC from Citibank for the Mi Box S. Expected to receive it by next month. My question is, can you guys list all the apps you used for streaming (free and paid). Some idea I have is:

1. Terrarium (non issue)
2. AOTG (need orientation apps)
3. HyppTV (need mouse and scrolling doesn't work)
4. Netflix
5.I Flix

anyone using freeflix here ?

Directv App. it doesnt stream smooth on Mi Box. its the only problem im facing now.

the app works fine on other android box but not Mi Box

I am using MIBOX .After upgrade to AOTG 8.2.6 version, every time I launch the app it will crash and quit. Anyone experience this problem?

i am having the same problem. heard it may due to the mi box is chinese version.
I got my Mi Box few years ago in china. Previously version 8.2.4 no issue streaming but 8.2.6 started crash. Hope to heard the answer to solve the problem

1. My wireless mouse, right click is not working is this normal on the MI Box S?
2. AOTG on SD Channels display in Portrait, any solution for this?

1. it's not the mibox s fault, it's the oreo update that causes it. solution, use remote for back button. and mouse for other things.
2. use "Set Orientation" app to reset your prefer orientation. and also remember to set your tv resolution to about 90% of your screen size if you can't view the full frame.

Hi users of Mi box s, i heard that xstro is not free and all others are free, is that true?

If yes, is there any way to tinker with it?

you watch playtv also you need to have unifi account, same as astro on the go, you need astro account.

So does it mean there is actually limited channel I can watch via Mi Box S?

can get free playtv acc, but the channel is limited

if i remembered correctly, even u hv premium playtv acc, there is some channel only got in STB version, not in the playtv apps

your unifi come with what plan? ultimate, aneka+[malay],ruby+[chinese] or varnam+[indian] ?

there's basic channel and premium channels.

*if you can watch 1 or 2 channels, means your box is rooted...you need to unroot the box before you can access other channel that you subscribe to.

to access playtv, you need to have username and password that come with your subscription plan

you can use sideload launcher or tv app repo to create shortcut to your app that you have just sideloaded. you can get both app from google store. you will also need es file explorer pro to sideload your app.

you need to check from time to time any changes made to your subscribe plan. those with this marking * is available on STB only.
