this device support more than hdtv.It support 4K.
I saw MyIPTV at Playstore. So should not be a problem.
why myiptv?

MDZ-16-AB(international version) is a official Android TV.
As far as I know, even the famous Minix U1 and U9
is only Android touchscreen tablet OS and not true Android TV.
So do enjoy the android tv first

At this price it is a bargain.

Is it worth it using Android TV and Google Cast?
*
Depending on your requirement.
I stream Android TV daily on one of my 2 monitors
I find it very good.Suitable for me.

Most in English contents. And as you know there not many educated
english population here in Malaysia.I do not think people here
will appreciated MDZ-16-AB.Many will go for the China(mandarin) version.
This is my personal view only.

There are a few launchers that you install to replace leanback launcher.
Just google and there should be some but why want to change the home launcher? I think its very fluid and good.

Yeah..Side load the launcher apk that you downloaded.

You can also try sideload launcher to access the apps that you have installed but doesnt show on home screen.
