Is it me or the game loads very slowly prior to the battle screen (ie. the 3D one)?

I am planning to move the game into my SSD to reduce loading time.

A bit slow. Tried with SSD vs 7200 rpm hard drive. Less than 5 seconds for SSD. HDD can take roughly 20 seconds depending on the battle size.

Be warned though, base game with all current DLC is around 32GB as of now. So make sure your SSD have room for it, need to take into account future expansions too.

What happen to ze peasant gamers in lowyat, no update to one of ze most important LC for warhammer.

Bretonnia faction is fun, love the mechanics, accent and units looks good too.

With the release of Bretonnia, it means the old world warhammer is completed and CA said there would be a trilogy (google it) which means the 2nd standalone warhammer is on its way.



Based on the warhammer map, I think either one of the 2 sequels would include Ulthuan (high eves) + Naggaroth (Dark elves) + New world (lizardmen) + Chaos wastes (daemons) as a package for one of the sequel, they also mentioned the standalone would feature 4 playable factions like the first trilogy.

The other part of the trilogy would probably include Ogre kingdom (ogre) + southlands (nagash race ??? origin of vampires??) + Dark lands (chaos dwarf + skaven) + Araby (humanoid race). Ngam ngam 4 factions with probability to expand.

Opinion, I am particularly not very interested in Araby because they are very similar to Rome 2 & Attila version of the middle-eastern factions. I kinda wish they would include Grand Cathay (chinese based race) and Nippon (Japan based), no racism intended here just want fresh looking units to spill blood thats all but like many youtubers said, its gonna be bloated but I wish that they could resize campaign map to fit Grand Cathay and Nippon. Worst case scenario I hope they include Grand Cathay as DLC..Please take my money

I hope warhammer 2 & 3 continues to be as good or even better than the first one.

This mod looks interesting.

There was a good Attila mod called 1295 AD - Medieval but unfortunately those pricks got greedy and started to charged people $$ for the mods.

Most mods are fun but not long-term playable. It doesnt feel "Authentic".

Seems like Warhammer 2 is going to implement Avatar conquest similar to Shogun 2, Multiplayer players will rejoice since they are able to customize their army cosmetic colors

I was wondering if its worth upgrading my R9 380 2GB to a GTX 1070 mini ?
I wanted to wait for 2018 for my next GC upgrade but warhammer 2 came too soon lel.

If you want all ultra especially texture. The game uses up tp 6gb vram in the campaign map for game 1. For game 2 probably can shot up to 7 or 8, especialy those lively vortex.

My 4 gb is not even enough unless I use the system memory (which makes loading a bit slower even on ssd).

AMD Vega56 with HBM memory would have been timely if they were sufficiently manufactured and not ridiculously priced..damn, always walk into hardware dilemma with newer games. Thanks for the reply

If you can get Vega56 cheaper than 1070, then go for it. In some cases they're similar and sometimes better.

Anyway, there'll be launch day stream feom microsoft store NY at 7 am our time. It'll be on Twitch and some microaoft streaming platform. To bad I gotta send kids to scool that time.

Steam. Not sure even have retail copy for our region with all these region lock code. Read that those in the AU who were accidently sent the UK version cant even activate their game. Luckily those got sorted out pretty fast from what I see on the official forum.

If you want, probably have look online or check from SG. TW is not really a big market here and it's kinda blessing since it keeps the price down.

RM 115 for AAA+ game is certainly a steal.
