Cant believe I fell for the hype. Bought the game, time remaining 19 mins to completion. Hopefully not another
Rome 2. Anyways, RM 115.00 is quite a good deal. |

So far, this game is good.
Its not like rome 2 to attila, where same elements all over again, recycling contents. As a TW fan and Strategy gamer. TW warhammer is worth the RM 115.00. I would rate it : Gameplay - 8.8/10 , 4 major races but expected more minor factions. Prepare for DLCs !!!!! Graphics - 8/10 , my R9 380 on high settings looks nothing like the alpha. I guess gonna upgrade. Quality - 8/10 , Crashes and loading time can be quite painful but future patch can fix this. Overall, its a great game for its price. I can sense the cheap price is to entice people to play, get hooked and churn out more DLCs but if the DLCs are good I dont mind giving my money to CA since I bought all of Shogun 2 campaign DLCs. |

What happen to ze peasant gamers in lowyat, no update to one of ze most important LC for warhammer.
Bretonnia faction is fun, love the mechanics, accent and units looks good too. With the release of Bretonnia, it means the old world warhammer is completed and CA said there would be a trilogy (google it) which means the 2nd standalone warhammer is on its way. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Based on the warhammer map, I think either one of the 2 sequels would include Ulthuan (high eves) + Naggaroth (Dark elves) + New world (lizardmen) + Chaos wastes (daemons) as a package for one of the sequel, they also mentioned the standalone would feature 4 playable factions like the first trilogy. The other part of the trilogy would probably include Ogre kingdom (ogre) + southlands (nagash race ??? origin of vampires??) + Dark lands (chaos dwarf + skaven) + Araby (humanoid race). Ngam ngam 4 factions with probability to expand. Opinion, I am particularly not very interested in Araby because they are very similar to Rome 2 & Attila version of the middle-eastern factions. I kinda wish they would include Grand Cathay (chinese based race) and Nippon (Japan based), no racism intended here just want fresh looking units to spill blood thats all I hope warhammer 2 & 3 continues to be as good or even better than the first one. QUOTE(aliesterfiend @ Mar 2 2017, 10:12 AM) I didn't bookmark my own thread. There was a good Attila mod called 1295 AD - Medieval but unfortunately those pricks got greedy and started to charged people $$ for the mods. Anyway, anyone interested in modding ? Whether Warhammer or Attila (or even Rome 2) ? Most mods are fun but not long-term playable. It doesnt feel "Authentic". Seems like Warhammer 2 is going to implement Avatar conquest similar to Shogun 2, Multiplayer players will rejoice since they are able to customize their army cosmetic colors This post has been edited by Binaryteo: Jun 13 2017, 02:15 PM |

QUOTE(aliesterfiend @ Sep 26 2017, 05:53 PM) Preordered and preloaded Warhammer II. I'm on leave tomorrow until Friday. Anyone wants to play some MP campaigns for Warhammer 1 tonight or tomorrow or until before game 2 unlocked? Woah, real gamer Most of my steam friends are in different time zones ... /offtopic I was wondering if its worth upgrading my R9 380 2GB to a GTX 1070 mini ? I wanted to wait for 2018 for my next GC upgrade but warhammer 2 came too soon lel. |

QUOTE(aliesterfiend @ Sep 27 2017, 06:47 PM) If you want all ultra especially texture. The game uses up tp 6gb vram in the campaign map for game 1. For game 2 probably can shot up to 7 or 8, especialy those lively vortex. AMD Vega56 with HBM memory would have been timely if they were sufficiently manufactured and not ridiculously priced..damn, always walk into hardware dilemma with newer games. Thanks for the reply My 4 gb is not even enough unless I use the system memory (which makes loading a bit slower even on ssd). |

This game needs at least a GTX 1070 for ultra settings at 1080p for those who plan to upgrade their hardware for the extra eye candy. I thought 1060 was good enough since many mentioned GTX 1070 is 1440p king & GTX 1060 is 1080p king. Surprisingly, my exp with GTX 1070 running ultra settings is getting only around 45 - 55ish fps.
CPU is i5-6600k @ 4Ghz & ram 8GB - Most of them around 80% utilization. This post has been edited by Binaryteo: Sep 29 2017, 03:43 PM |
