Please go read my claim on rooted S6 Edge just posted in S6 Edge thread
Again I would say anyone concerned about warranty don't even root the phone
I had been successful 6x out of 6x claiming free warranty from Samsung on rooted phones in past 8 years.  Maybe I am lucky??

Is not lucky..Uncle's statement is true indeed...I managed to claim my note3 even my unit was rooted.(Low Yat Samsung Service center)

I am a gadget freak. Is my expensive hobby buying latest phones n gadgets to test out. I had been doing this past 8 years. Most phones barely last more than 3 months with me. I often sell them off n upgrade to latest available units. However more selective past 2 years n will not buy any less than 5 inch display. For personal use I always prefer minimum 5.5 inch to 6 inch. I bought this S6 Edge mainly for my missus use.

Note4 signal reception sucks compared to my previous Huawei X1.

Someone had stated in an earlier thread version that telcos had confirmed signal issues with the Note4.

It all depends on your area actually, not all areas and all telcos have bad reception.
I'm on Umobile and its been good for me so far, no issues
But it sucks when I'm in TGV cinema 1 U, always one or 2 bars, but I'm OK with it.

Just my 2 cents la

I don't know why some of you guys had signal problems with your Note4. I had never any such issues on my ex Note4 or any of my present or past Android phones on Celcom postpaid or Maxis postpaid. LTE is always excellent especially for Celcom. My place small town only and only Digi I'd say is bad ( missus using that) especially for 3G as LTE non existent at all. You should compare with other chaps in your area using same phone to isolate potential hardware issues with the phone ??

Agreed. My HW Honor 6 also got awesome 4G signals compared to any other phones i've used so far. Very impressed with their emerging tech lately. Hats down. rclxms.gif

Sadly the HuaWei brand is always grossly under rated by many. It could be it is China branded and fully made in China with its own in house chip. Users always look down on its chipset vs SnapDragon, Intel etc. I always say to doubtful users , just buy one and you will not regret vs the more expensive Sony, HTC, Samsung or even LG
The only major issue with HW phones is its slower firmware updates and lack of custom roms. But than again its firmware is already very stable, and bug/problem free and even subsequent update I hardly notice any significant differences. I update it just for the sake of updating to have the latest only. Very highly recommended brand for the common user not interested in firmware/roms/kernels stuff

Agree.. Huawei products actually very good.. I love their mediapad X1.. Mate 7 is awesome.. If not because of S pen, I would definitely choose Mate 7 over Note 4

I would say saying Note 4 is a " struggling product" is an overkill statement !
I was using ip6+ same time as Note 4 and personally I has never like ip6+ ( worse I paid RM3.8K for it than !! - simply unbelievable crazy premium price than !!)  and gave it away after a month of usage. I had explained why so many times why I don't like the ip6+ as it just fails to meet my needs. I won't elaborate further on ip6+ disadvantages here

I just ported to celcom postpaid rm38 for 3gb from my current maxis line suftmore50. Now just wait for the activation. Hopefully its worth it,first time use celcom. rolleyes.gif
