QUOTE(idoblu @ May 11 2017, 04:36 PM) want to turn on/off got remote already ma....btw my panasonic tv can download app then use app on my ipon to control the TV you should try searching for an app for your tv if you insist on full power off then look for Masterplug Master/Slave extension cord. You turn off one device which is designated the Master, the other Slaves will power off as well because i wanna try the voice control, i saw someone posted here control with Echo Dot

QUOTE(hirota @ May 11 2017, 04:45 PM) because i wanna try the voice control, i saw someone posted here control with Echo Dot Echo dot alone cannot do much. After adding this and that just to voice control over your tv, it's not worth it trust me Your tv is controlled by IR, if you get an IR blaster, I still don't see the point.

If you don't want to mess with the power cable for your tv with sonoff switch There's the sonoff s20 uk plug I'm using one mostly to avoid overcharge my phone (using with tasker, if battery reach 100% it turns off the plug)

Always thought Sonoff is inline type. Unless your phone is old model. New phone will cutoff the charging when it reach full.

Using it mostly to hotspot, I'm still not comfortable just letting it charged the whole time I've set to turn on the plug when battery drops at low level & turns it off at 100%.

nothing much to experience, hahah i think practically im using harmony for my fan (grouping with other living hall lights) and one of my amp which i dont have the remote for
the auto turn on n off tv just a gimmick to show frens how it works when they come over
bought the harmony hub from ebay, refurbished set, for about half the price
most of my controls are link up thru alexa + vera, the harmony just compliments it abit

It's easy to setup, just ask alexa to scan for new devices and it will add the devices/fav channels you've already added in harmony Just need to work on the accent a bit lol when turning on fav channel

Sonoff can detect your phone level low and turn ON auto than detect 100% charge and turn OFF auto ? Actually you miss understand the overcharge meaning. Overcharging for battery is not mean plug in forever on and spoil the battery. It is very wrong information.

"detect battery level and sends action to sonoff s20" Is this sonoff s20 have some sensor capability to detect battery level ? Cause I search around the s20 infor and didn't said any sensor level built in.

QUOTE(alucard89 @ May 13 2017, 12:15 PM) I meant Tasker app, it's doing the the monitoring & send action So it is the phone send the battery full signal to the apps and apps execute shut off the sonoff. Not the hardware itself have the sensor built in. Understand.
