Yes there is, and it's actually maintained by a Tuya dev team as well. But the official Tuya integration is still fairly new and whether it supports your particular product can be a bit of a hit or miss.
The integration so far works with my wifi smart plugs (the cheap, brandless RM30 ones from Shopee), Zemismart Wifi roller blind motor, and Toush 2-gang zigbee switch (without neutral). My door sensor doesn't show up at all and my motion sensor just works wrongly (the state doesn't reflect the actual state in the Smart Life app). Tuya's IR Blaster isn't supported at all so I had to switch to Broadlink (using a RM Pro but I've also used the RM Mini 3 as well) - used to control my AC and TV.
I guess gotta wait a while before everything is supported properly.
Still, I've got all the major devices working on HomeKit and that's 90% of what I wanted out of switching from Alexa/Google anyway. An added bonus is that Homekit doesn't need a Nabu Casa subscription (or the hassle of setting up the workaround).
Fiddling with Home Assistant can be fun. I just recently figured out that I can set up my IR commands to control my TV as scripts rather than switches so that I can ask Siri to turn the tv on/off and change inputs without having to deal with switch states.
Now just need to wait for the tuya integration to work properly with my sensors and it'll be perfect.
Interesting, so the zigbee sensors don’t quite reflect their actual status.
So if i need to start with homekit, what’s the cheapest/basic thing i need? Like the homekit hub or somethibg
