Rm350 including lockset?
*
I bought a used one for like 250. Then just diy, installation went easier than expected. Then pairing with smartthings hub, so maybe a bit extra if include the hub 😅
Although mostly just use the keypads to unlock, didn’t utilize the geolocation feature much.

For aqara home switch, other than the mi home app, we still need to buy the mi gateway right?
*
Some of the aqara devices also act as gateway hub like their newer aqara camera. I have the hub since it also act as alarm.

To complicate the method further, now have new single fire switch that need put this wifi power adapter between L1, no need use capacitor.
*

Can you tell how it works again?
Since not using capacitor, but now there's wifi adaptor?

I am still waiting for the actual size. Because worried our normal cavity + smart switch cannot fit this wifi module.
*
Ok, let me understand this
So basically
1) you still need to have a smart switch like tuya/sonoff
2) this wifi module needs to be connected to existing smart switch

So it's a companion to smart switch so you don't have to pull neutral wire?

Try google for say, "Best IoT routers". Most smart devices are on 2.4GHz. So, probably try to look for dual or triple band routers and for other usage like phones or laptop use 5GHz. I think of likely they are operable in 5GHz band.

Depends on your budget. So, normally the higher the price, the better the router capability like better processing power, more buffer, etc. Mesh router is good as start too.

The Mesh Router provided by maxis for their fiber package gooding enough?

Can we connect the sonoff switch to a hub instead of wifi?
*
not exactly sonof, but with zigbee switch you can pair to hub like smartthings

Just googled and knew the brand first time  laugh.gif  Looks like it it Turkey brand https://airties.com/index.html. Not sure which model though.

Most problem is not hardware but just firmware.

The maxis guy said singtel also gune this mesh router, I guess reliable enough?
Will be moving to a house, so considering their maxis one prime fiber package. Seems to be good deal turning your data plan unlimited when subscribed with broadband plan. I'm just curious about their portforwarding

is this possible to control both system under google home?

thanks

I was just joking but yes need that sensor, thus there is not need for the trigger when opening door then. It becomes redundant.

Opening door trigger, the system need to know you are entering or leaving the house  biggrin.gif

I forgot, he wants to combo both sonoff switch & xiaomi sensors.
So i guess it needs hass for that
