There is a Console for putting the settings in the webpage for the Sonoff device.
Worse come to worse also can reflash OTA the firmware.

It’s wierd but Samsung Smarthings doesn’t seem to be sold here in Malaysia. Couldnt find any online shops that sells this.
Is it because it’s not supported here?
*
Nope, not offically sold here nor comes with msia zwave frequency. If you wanna get one, make sure your hub z-wave frequency is compatible with your z wave devices.
For example, I got a us smartthings hub to pair with my Yale smart lock.

AFAIK zigbee frequency is standard worldwide, just z-wave is different based on region. You can pair with xiaomi sensors to the hub.

Less than half an hour can settle since you have the materials already.
Now flashing very easy and fast. No need use Arduino IDE.
My experience is that the FTDI USB might be fake and frustrate the process.

Coming from a first time flasher (sounds corny), I use FTDI and ArduinoIDE, maybe it's a bit too much but I'm on an iMac.

1) FTDI chip, I use the CP2102, make sure you get the IC? chip in a diamond-shaped format.

2) Get all your libraries and ArduinoIDE and Tasmota updated to the latest version.

3) I didn't have to solder any of my Sonoffs, but a word of caution, I have only Tasmota-ized Sonoff Basic, TH16, POW, T1 (2 gang & 3 gang), Sonoff 4Ch and Sonoff 4ChPro. So that is my only experience.

4) The toughest of them all was the 4ChPro, because I have to hold another jumper cable from the GND slot to the 2nd pin on the IC. But it can be done.

Anything can just ask. I only followed DrZzs videos, and the Tasmota wiki page. All is there, just that it's technical on the wiki whereas DrZzs is more visual. I'm a visually inclined person.
