i think is better get a playpen to teach ur furkid.hmm ur room enough space to put playpen mar, btw my room cannot put playpen although i wanted to get one . if get a playpen should more easier for ur furkid to train .cuz now u didnt cage ur furkid and i think if train inside the playpen you just need to place the newspaper, but of cuz u have to leave a spot for ur pup to sleep on which is with some old cloth or new cloth ( which u like ) as their sleeping spot. most of the furkid do like clean and it all dislike to peepoo at their sleeping area.i think if when ur furkid been pee on the newspapar place another piece on top of the pee.(this would be a great idea)but if u reli mention those newspaper all getting dirty & messy then u have to change all again with the same step i been told. Hepy like to bite newspaper, u can go out when u free and buy her something chew toy for her inside the playpen. You actually have to allow ur furkid ro stay inside the playpen most of the time untill she have done her pee and poo problem and learn newspaper is the peepoo place to him. but of cuz, you can let her out to play but always remember and remember if you saw her got the intention wanted to peepoo faster and do bring ur furkid to the newspaper and waiting her to do it bussiness until it finish it only show ur expression which is very happy and hug and kisses do show u are happy to furkid.

i knw hepy know the tray is to do bussiness but then it still got abit confruse.well,is better to buy a playpen first or maybe the back of the door got it marking and smell of the pee /poo so it will still cannot control it bladder and will poo at the marking there.so it is better allow ur hepy to know the newspaper is the peepoo place slowly introduce it to a tray cover with newspaper. 1st thing you have to do is need to put some newspaper that got ur furkid pee smell.then the tray you can place inside ur house that you want ur pup where to peepoo. Show ur pup where is this tray of newspaper are.

but although if ur furkid show been sucess the training.but sumtimes of cuz ur furkid will do mistake tooO which mean miss pee/poopoo at the newspaper.but then to me is very normal la.every furkid to me oso the same.just have to'' Be patient more & confident to urself and ur furkid''. after your furkid know where to peepoo then you dun need to cage ur puppy anymore. When you go out to campus and u no need to worry went back ur room and see got world war 1 happen in ur room. When you come back from campus then you can just clean up the newspaper and place a new one on the tray that it.

well that's a good thing that ur Hepy show that he do love toys.Hepy should be glad that it have a good owner aka mum right?haha,my furkid do love toys too.

kenot get a playpen ar. My room is enuff for thje space but kenot get. Last time I train Lucky in playpen - then he noes whr to pee poo in playpen but when i let him out to roam in my room (at first stage wanna restrict his freedom), he cincai pee poo whenever i let him out - so ar . Then secondly with playpen, i think he doesn't have enuff space in there and he messed up the newspaper EVERYDAY. So headache. That's why with Hepy now, I didn't buy playpen already. Jz now after he pooped at the door there, I take the poo and wipe a bit on the newspaper. Then I catch him to the tray and let him smell smell his own poo. But wierd thing, he hardly pees one. Today, this morning until now, he peed twice only and he drinks very little water. I didn't see him drinking the water so often unless if he played with the toys, then tired, then he'll drink.

that's agood idea too which is just now Hepy poo on the back door then u wipe a biton the tray.well , although it didnt exactly poo on the tray but if it smell , u have to praise oso. maybe it reli work .show that if he understand that's the place to poo , then he know that's the way to make it owner happy.but u did a great job edi.hmmm...ur furkid not reli like to drink water wan ar? my furkid after play oso will drink lots of water too , and around 4 hours once , i will open toilet door to my furkid to pee.well slowly slowly ur furkid will drink water wan dun worry , i did mention my furkid last time not reli like to drink water too.

he's also not addicted to food unlike my shih tzu last time. Last time when my shih tzu see got food, he will bark and go berserk one. Hepy hor, when he sees me opening the container, he wag wag his tail and wawlk round and round. But after I pour the food on his bowl, he will jz sniff sniff and walk away. UNLESS if he's super hungry, then he will eat some. As with water, i hardly see him drinking except after playing and eating. So, he din really pee one. This morning pee until now and drink water this morning until now too. It's normal one right??

I bought a water bottel last nite from st angels and now i dunno whr to screw the bottle . Might go to Ikea to buy a papan

Did you groom lui lui urself?? Or u send to where for full grooming?? How much is it? I'll wait fwe more months, then mgiht send him for those standard MS look grooming . Now his hair is still very very short - dun want to groom. Let it grow first... hehehe. And i dun think i'll groom his moustache - i like the ah pek look ar

hahahha , yea . i let my gf groom wan , so nvr bring own furkid for grooming before. hmm , actually my gf wanted to bring for grooming wan , but i abit not very trust people maybe , so trust gf la.hahaha. so i ask my gf not to groom the eye brown and let it grow longer. cuz i dun wan those eye brown so straight wan hahahaha.i bought those groomer set when i first bought my furkid edi.syrian update ur Hepy pic ='D hmm although the pet pamper salon is mygf's friend open wan , but then i oso let my gf groom , not saying i not trust my gf friend , just feel my gf noe how 2 groom mah, then just let her groom lor hahaha

Added on April 24, 2007, 6:30 pmoh reli ah. maybe ur Hepy not that hungry gua when see food oso wont went berserk gua. hmm my furkid do love food a lot , wagging it tail until so fast == last time oso will very very happy until will bark and ask me faster give her food haha. but now i will control it that before eat , have to do all trick 1st or i put down the food , ask my furkid to sit down , until i say 1..2...3 only eat. haha. hmm last time my furkid oso not reli like to drink water wan . but after 4-5 month old it started to drink more water compare to last time , so i feel is normal wan.

Sigh! I jz came back from class. Hepy pooped on the floor again - at back of door again. Same spot!! But I've alerady used detergent to clean that place. Should not have his smell anymore ler

Detergent may sometimes not be able to mask the smell. Try distilled white vinegar with baking soda

well Hepy is actually showing that he is angry when u left him alone at room that why he will do marking at the back door there , and poo , because that's the place where u leave . hahaha. last time my furkid oso like that wan , then slowly slowly no more doing that . well , try use the white vinegar which is recommend by jtl and crazymouse_yyh , do keep us update then

how do u solve that problem ?? Jz now i leashed him back again when I go to campus coz I don't want him to pee poo on the floor. I kept stepping on his poops coz it's almost the same colour as my floor . How do u teach lui lui NOT to pee poo on floor?? Coz I couldn't catch him red-handed. He did it when I'm away. Then jz now i leashed him lor - he played with the newspapers - my whole floor so sticky with his urine . How to solve this problem too?

1. If i leashed him, he will play with newspapers.
2. If I didn't leash him, he will simply pee poo.

Last tiem with my shih tzu, I put in playpen one ma .. He also played with newspapers when I'm not around. So, I dun think playpen will solve the problem. But I dun want to get a cage either. If he poo in the cage, later he step on it, worse (i think).

Syrian, I think u r rushing a bit loh.....U got ur MS just.....not enuf 1 week rite?? u expect ur MS to learn to do so many things ah?? cannot lah.......
If u dun wan ur MS to dirty ur floor, i suggest u get a cage. Like wat Digitral said, u should cage trained ur MS b4 its too late leh....
Normally they won poo and pee in the cage. But although they did (coz puppy cannot tahan too long), the pee and poo will still go down to the tray, wont dirty ur MS and floor also.
When u wanna go out, put ur MS in the cage. Let him bark, let him whine, just ignore him. slowly he will stop lah.
When u r back, open door, lure him or bring him to a spot where u wan him to do his business, then on the spot wipe his bump, give a treat.
U can let him roam free when u're home coz u can monitor him mah. If he done something wrong, then only can catch him red-handed.

I think MS is easier to train than a shih tzu, coz shih tzu is quite stubborn. But u need a little patience loh..... My shih tzu now knows where to pee and poo liao, although sometimes still got pee accident(pee on the mat), but bcoz i'm home that time, so can scold her on the spot, then cage her/ignore her for like one hour. Soon she'll know that peeing on other places is wrong.

that's the point . Syrian , joanalooidog is right too. well actually to me ur Hepy is very very smart edi. Hepy just use 2 days then know the tray is to do bussiness. well is better get a cage or a play pen to train it.well i do have a cage to my Lui Lui wan , so when i bck from work or my gf back from Campus only let my furkid out from cage and open toilet door. so my lui lui been train to not pee/poo at cage . unless i went out more than 8 hours, then of cuz every furkid cannot control it bladder and pee oso , but if poo poo , my furkid will wait till me back then only poo at toilet. hmm choose either one to train ur Hepy , i bet ur Hepy will be more easier to understand it. because Hepy now the problem is if u let ur hepy free then it will poo at back door , this situation do happen when i let my furkid free at room last time . well , although now is now more is bcuz before i go out , i have to make sure my furkid is already pee/poo at toilet.but then i feel if u feel is pity if ur Hepy stay at cage , then u can make a playpen , i bet Hepy bite the newspaper bcuz it tot it is a toy to him.

Added on April 25, 2007, 2:14 pmwell , i think different owner got different method wan .well , last time my lui lui did poo at the backdoor when i wanted to go downstair and let it free roam at roam , is bcuz tat time although i got let my furkid pee/poo at toilet but then i didnt give treat , so now everytime my furkid poo at toilet my furkid will use her eye and action to show that she want the treats. so i did use treats as a reward.so that's why maybe my furkid now understand if she either poo at floor or cage , it will not get treat either.

if u wanted to leash , make the leash more longer?i mean use 2 leash and tie it up. and make it more space to it to walk ? but not to near the back door.but the problem is ur Hepy will still use newspaper as a chewing toys and bite into pieces too.but of cuz teaching not to bite the newspaper have to see when Hepy got the intention to bite the newspaper then u just firmly say '' NO '' . He will stop when you done teaching Hepy that this is bad bad habit, otherwise he will really do this for the rest of his life.but to me Hepy is very young 2 month old , and is a fast learner edi,anyway do GIVE him with chewing toys and when Hepy play with chewing toys just praise him when he is using them. Say firmly NO when he is biting anything else.Just my 2 cents anyway.To me , dogs of cuz not reli understand what we trying to talk to them , but they do understand our body language and expression and either tone of voice.From now on , u have show you are the owner aka leader edi , when it bite the newspaper take it away in front of him .is to show that thing is not surposed to bite .hmm training maybe is a bit boring like what to say '' Repeat and repeat '' until they totally understand what u need them to be.so that's mean patience is reli important , time prove it,give ur Hepy some time and allow it know what is have to do and what is Don't .

i think he play with newspaper bcoz i left him for few hours in my room and he sian lor. I got give him toys but his toys fly away far far jor. Then he simply pee poo .. coz sked alone and wanna get my attention gua. But I have to go to class one ma. Jz now i went to toilet for few min only wor, he barks like crazy and he whines for some time. I think he feels lonely in my room. He wants attention lor.

Buying playpen won't solve the newspaper thingy. He will also play with it jz like my shih tzu last time. Cage ar .. feel kinda bad wanna lock him up in cage .

I think i'll think of something else for him to pee poo instead of exposing the newspaper for him to paly wiht. Let u noe when I thot of one

no problem ,you can find a way to solve it , as i know ur Hepy is very very smart ='D well , just find a method which is convenient to u , no rush and everything sure got away to solve. Hmm , maybe u feel cage is a bit curle to lock it up , but after train it and it get used of it , if wont feel boring at cage . but different owner sure got different method wan .i figure out that music and toys will make ur furkid will wont boring when alone at room . cuz i do use this method too.yes, furkid like to get attention from us , bcuz it want us to care it and love it Hepy look so cute at ur pic oso . hahaha.thanks for sharing the pic . as i can see hepy look tidy and handsome after grooming.

hmm i not very sure why after vaccination then cannot take bath , itat time i just listen advise from my breeder that after vaccination cannot take bath a week . and i didnt ask why.or u can ask vet next time ?

oh yeah .. jz now i went to carrefour .. jz bought Hepy a Johnsons's baby powder. Can apply right?? He smells good after i apply powder on him.
