hopefully they'll use this shirt in UCL, even at the home turf. Not bcoz i don't like the traditional black & white stripe but Juve just look menacing
when they put on all black kit(like when we trashed Celtic 3-0 in their so call fortress of Celtic Park 3 seasons ago). The neon-green shirt of UCL
last season were the one to forget though laugh.gif
*
I agree with you we look menacing...Black away shirts also have so far brought us good results away from home... Especially against English opposition laugh.gif

Please loud Buffon as well. He was amazing with the double saves and Yaya's long range.

Bonucci stepped up and provided killer balls. 2nd goal was his move smile.gif

I was thinking Sturaro is the weak link in midfield, but his workrate is just amazing. Seems like Vidal reborn again. His passing sometimes bit off though. But he is adequate replacement for Marchisio.

Hernanes is OK. Cuadrado is beast. Chelsea fans must be wondering if he is same Cuadrado, hehehe

Now, only Pobga left of last years formidable midfielder generals. If Sturaro and Hernanes can link up and create solid partnership with Pogba and Cuadrado/Pareyra, they can provide more service to Morata/Mandzukic.

Buffon is no doubt our MotM. If there's a Superman in real life, he's definitely one of em

Man i just couldn't wait till we have our full team back on full fitness, esp the core of central midfielders

M.P.H = Marchisio,Pogba,Hernanes

K.M.H = Khedira,Marchisio,Hernanes laugh.gif

the 21-man team to face Genoa in Marassi tonight

1 Buffon
3 Chiellini
7 Zaza
9 Morata
10 Pogba
11 Hernanes
12 Alex Sandro
15 Barzagli
16 Cuadrado
17 Mandzukic
18 Lemina
19 Bonucci
20 Padoin
21 Dybala
24 Rugani
25 Neto
26 Lichtsteiner
27 Sturaro
33 Evra
37 Pereyra
38 Audero

i think we should stick with the 4-3-3 used during the midweek against City, bcoz with the player we have now its pointless if Juve didn't play
to their main strength which is the offense

4-3-3 it is... But damn Morata got injured.... Cuadrado has so far been our best player... Pereyra has been very good as well on the left wing.

1-nil up Genoa 10 man... Hope we can wrap things up and get our first win of the season sweat.gif unsure.gif

Moving forward I think 4-3-3 is not the correct formation..not for this season... coz we do not have the players to really bring out the formation.. Need top class wingers to play 4-3-3

Furthermore 4-3-3 also limits Dybala's appearances as he is a SS like Tevez... Confusing times ahead hmm.gif unsure.gif

as for now Juve are still in experimenting phase..so we still don't know our best setup

and not to mention the likes of Khedira are still yet to make an official appearance, anyway what a nice first 3pts in the league...hopefully this is a kickstart
of our title defense flex.gif

- That Lemina guys is something...still early to say but kinda feel like having vidal on the pitch

- BTW is it me or Number 10 Pogba kinda like to duel 1 on 1 rather than passing to other and loss the ball possesion.

- Why is Mandzukic so shy to take a shot?

all depends on coach decision, mostly players play by coach instructions. i think pogba given free role, and mandzukic to hold up play.
but pogba taking huge risk with the centered penalty. i like dybala's better

Lemina is ok, maybe workhorse like vidal, but he does not have that accuracy in tackling yet. but he is still young, lots of potential there

Like zaidi said players probably play due to coach instructions. Mandzu is a strong forward who can do the hold-up play like Tevez
usually did previous season

IMO Mandzu should be a starter in UCL/cup games bcoz his goal scoring record there speaks a lot. But in the league Dybala should be
over him in pecking order, and BTW having both Pereyra and Cudrado on the flank would torment most defender out there. Playing
Frosinone this Wednesday hopefully both of em start with Dybala leading the attack, while Lemina in action once again in the MF

I guess u guys were right. The free roam role make me see pogba look different from last season.
Mandzu really need to sharpen his shooting.. I still remember Tevez blast a shot on much much tighter angle above goalie head...(2 times that happen).

BTW forget to ask..any update about Morata and Mandzukic injury status?

Oh ya Rugani can start (maybe) for next game against Frosione. Sandro too.

Lol

This reminded me of Conte's Juve. Lots of chances but wasteful infront of goals

Really a dropped of a precious 2pts and then the trip to San Paolo where Napoli scored 10 goals in a space of 2 matches last week.

Exactly like conte squad but with much fragile defence...this season only 1 match that we keep clean sheet so far...
wonder why Rugani still on bench...should try to use him instead last night..

Very very disappointing... A kick in the teeth

But some positive is that we are starting to play more like a team... and I am particularly very impress with Mario Lemina. Ablitlity to win the ball back, great in possession, great positioning to receive the ball, win back the ball and stop counter attacks. Really impressed by him. I can tell he will be better than Sturaro in the future. He reminds me abit of Claude Makelele. Sit there, anchor superbly, and nothing gone past him. He will hoever be tested severely against Napoli. Lets see how he do .

yes. Utterly disappointing we conceded on 90+2 minute when Juve players were already thinking they'll keep all 3pts

he's like our version of Francis Coquelin, In a couple of matches i think he'll climb the pecking order above Sturaro.

Now crossing my fingers for Napoli...and then Sevilla

yes. But i would include Payet(West Ham) on that list. Watched a couple of West Ham matches this season, he'd really the main engine moving their
midfield and to no surprise they're top 3 in the league right now. And their young forwards are great too with the likes of Griezmann, Martial, Lacazette etc.
In defense we have the likes of Kurt Zouma, Kurzawa, Varane & Mangala to name a few

Now its really a golden generation of France football team. As the host they're definitely the favorite to lift the cup or atleast making it to
the semis/final with the squad they've
