I plan to get Senkoh-1, but I had not tried it. But I heard from forumers that its a pretty good allround blade with a tad towards hitting/attacking game. I was deciding between the Senkoh-1 or the Yasaka Musashi Deluxe. Unfortunately, I doubt I have the opportunity to try it before I buy. Any 3rd/4th/5th ...etc. opinions?
Carbon blades is a no-no for me. I was, had been, and will always be a full wood user
.
The only thing is the rubber I want (MarkV) is currently out of stock at presports. Have to wait until next month =.=.
p/s: I was looking at nittaku violin...until I saw the price.
Senkoh-1 is a 1-ply Cypress (Hinoki) wood blade. Suitable for an offensive game but not for me as I play an all-round game at the moment. In fact I was trying my friend's Senkoh-1, YinHe J-1 and Champion Bipa (all 1-ply blade) and I must say they have the power for offensive play. A slight movement on my wrist and the ball careens over to the other side speedily. But the speed is too much for me when I push and chop. Senkoh-1 is the better blade, IMO among the 3 and Champion Bipa is the least.Carbon blades is a no-no for me. I was, had been, and will always be a full wood user

I also have tried carbon and other composite blades (glass fibre, arylate, titanium etc). My comment is that most of these blades are super fast except the LKT glass fibre and Palio Titanium blades which I would ranked (in Butterfly ranks) as ALL+ / OFF-.
There are other pricey blades apart from Nittaku Violin, blades made by TSP, Kokutake etc.
Mark V can also be obtained from Gold Medal Sports Trading (office at UE3, next to Taman Miharja)). Am not sure of Table Tennis Trading in Taman Miharja if they do stock Mark V rubbers.

yo a1098113..... have you tried or seen the NaruCross Tension? Wonder if anyone has tried this... can't find much info on the net...
Hi Thalis,Can be found from presports

From manufacturer remarks : Made with CROSS (CROsslink Synergy System) Technology, at the core of innovation in rubber. The bonding system between sponge and top-sheet guarantees superior built-in fresh glue effect. The result is a combination of resilient top-sheet and more powerful top-spin shots with bigger arc.
