Hi,
I am from India, and probably the only J-Pen (er) in India. I saw some posts about J-Pen on this site and so decided to register and get some suggestions for buying a J-Pen blade.
Can someone suggest me some good J-Pen blade and from where i can procure it.
Try presports.com. Look for j-pen blades.
Cheapest I can think of is Champion Bipa, costing RM40/= only.

YEAH YEEHAAA. I am planning of a lowyat base table tennis tourney.
Are u guys interested? i wish can play with u guys all. Anyone interested? Beginner, amateur, state or national also can join. Anyone old or young, girls or guys, working adult or schooling kids also can. But limited for 20 ppl only. I want to make a small tourney first.
How bout that?
Tourney fee is only the table renting. example if 20 people join then each of us pay rm 10
RM 200
table rental is rm 6 for one table per hour.
we rent for 4 hours
Rent 4 tables (maybe 3 tables only)
RM96
RM200-96 = 104
1st place 35
2nd place 25
3rd place
&4th place 22 each
Worth table tennis stuffs of hamper. ok or not? (maybe not hamper) something like one rubber of rm 35, another one rubber is rm 25 and third and 4th place mayb get something else a bat cover or something like that..maybe boxes of table tennis balls.
Tournament for Lowyat Table Tennis March 2010
(Anyone in LYN table tennis forum can join.) Beginner, amateur, state or national also can join.
Date & Time: 6th March 2009 (Sat) 11am ~ 3pm
Venue:
UE3 Gold Medal Sports Trading.
A-1-3 & A-1-3a, Level 3,
Menara Uncang Emas A,
85, Jalan Loke Yew,
55200, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Phone: 603 9285 1637
Fax: 603 9283 1636
After that we all have lunch together
Here we know nicknames and avatar only. When we meet real person then can know each other more and can try each of our opponent skills.
If this tourney a success i might consider have a tourney every end of the month. Or middle of the month or beginning of the month. Maybe every first sat of the month or last sat of the month. Cause usually Sunday is family day for most of us.
Then we have a lowyat ranking player list.
Win 1 match get 10 points. Get more points will push your ranking higher
Lost 1 match deducts 5 points from ranking point.
Everyone will be given 1000 ranking points to begin.
(I am not sure if this ranking system will work or not just try it out)
And if those who are good in camera and photography please bring along camera we can snapshot together and put in forum our first lowyat tourney.
I hope someone can help me out.. if i be player and do all administrative things i dunno i can handle it alone or not. Maybe additional 2 people can help me is much appreciated.
Any volunteer?
If those interested please confirm it here.
Key word: "I am interested to join the tourney."

At the back of my JPen, I have a 755 long pips rubber on it, without sponge. It is allowed in competition? I plan to change to a thin 729 rubber in place of the 755 but worried that the balance will be out since I observed no J-pen holders use any rubbers at the back as opposed to CPen.
Any idea how to use to long pips rubber as RBH in penhold? It keeps consistently going up and down inconsistently.

Long pips rubber without sponge is known as "OX" rubbers. Whether it is allowed in ITTF/TTAM sanctioned competition will depends on whether it is on the latest ARC (Authorised Racket Covering) list by ITTF.
Otherwise just use it and hit around with it.
There are a couple players from Sunway University college using j-pen rpb, rubbers mostly hurricane3 with lkt pro series rubbers.
My idea if using pimples out rubber on the back of a j-pen is to use the long pips rubber as a block or a chop. To be consistent, all you need is practice alot with it.
BTW, still cannot guess which Nittaku model you are using, but looks like from the 70s/80s type of flared handshake blade.
