Lucky I sent my phone to service centre 1 year ago due to my phone screen sawan babi. They change my screen lcs and digitizer 1 set. No more sawan. This is due to flex issue. Now still using L1520 windows 10 and no problem so far.

Install English (USA) language, set as default for phone then set your phone region to USA. I've been using Cortana like this since W8.1

I changed my battery in a shop that used original replacement parts. Cost me less than RM200. Definitely don't do this yourself.

I'm going with the DIY path, ordered the battery from aliexpress, costing me RM 45 and 1 mth delivery time..

Btw, does your battery reach up to 100% when fully charged?

I changed my battery at one of the shops in subang jaya a couple of moths ago. It's not original and the battery goes up to 80+%, good enough to last me a full day.

Just change the my battery few days ago too..

Me too just changed my batt few days ago.
Bought it on taobao, claimed it was ori and come with opening tools and screen protector. Managed to change the batt myself and it can be charged up to 100%.
So far the new batt was doing great!
Now no need to scare phone batt died when at work.

Am still using the WP8.1, my phone's mic officially 'kong' after some changes especially the charging port. So, I will be using earphone to pick up my phone already. I also don't know when will WP10 be officially launch for Lumia 1520.
