Treatpoints you will definitely get.
For cash rebate, make sure you do it on Saturday's evening or night, as sometimes PayPal follows US time zone.
I always do on Saturday's night and never failed to get cash rebate. smile.gif
Already revised since 1st May.

You should read the first page.... Now, Paypal transactions by Maybank follows Malaysian's time.... I also forgot my own experience/statement (with one transaction early this month).... too many cards mixed up the timing/time zones...

Another tip... CIMB follows Paypal HQ's time zone.... Maybank AMEX used to follow AMEX HQ's time zone (but no longer)

Call Maybank to unblock your online transactions. And no, for future transactions you cannot call ahead and unblock. The payment has to fail first before you can call and unblock it :/

No intention to flame you on this, as nobody can give you a direct answer as some are accepting it and some are not.

He is actually telling the truth. They cannot unblock unless there is something to unblock in the system.

Wah, so sad. Gave an honest answer and was called a troll instead cry.gif cry.gif

On the other hand though, it does show how bad the system is. A first timer mistook it for being a troll answer, because it seems so illogical. I envy you guys with the older system where you can just do it once and it's forever allowed.

Is it the case that only new Maybank Amex cardholders have this problem? I've been using my Maybank Amex online all this while without any problem. Maybank never block any transaction. I use it on Amazon, Paypal, etc. unsure.gif

I am not a regular user of Paypal. So I dont know. I only had one experience of calling MBB to unblock my card for Paypal. At that time the CS asked me how many hours do I need to use the card for Paypal. I just told him give me a couple of hours.

Maybank Amex CC holder since 2012.... Maybank blocks PAYPAL everytime after the first initial transaction... If you perform only one Paypal transaction a week, Maybank will not block it...
