Been using Umobile about 2 months and found out that their 3G data network not so good even in Klang Valley. There is no issue on my friends LTE and also 2G network (edge) on my phone. Unfortunately my phone don't support LTE, so I have to always disable 3G in order to use internet in 2G mode.Thinking of switch to others network.

RM70+RM50 for 2 lines, sharing 10GB in between for the new hero plus plan. Looks good for me but concerned about the coverage. Currently using a umobile prepaid as a 2nd line, experience frequent call drops, not sure it's my hospital line problem or umobile issue.

ya currently umobile upgrading its 4g network, the 3g network is terrible at some area, but u get steady 4g network if u able to connect
hope they settle asap otherwise all my customers ciao already

I agree. I wanted to MNP to U Mobile but the coverage is terrible here in Kuching. I would rather pay more for a better coverage.

You tested the Umobile in Kuching?

Yeap. Tested with Power Prepaid. Mobile Internet not satisfactory. Area such as Batu Kawah no 3G coverage. Limited area with 3G coverage. Even under 3G coverage, Internet speed not stable.

My hometown N9 not even E, only got G.. 20years back 33.6kbps dial up faster than that

Which part of N9? I tested with my prepaid, most part of Seremban can get 3G, certain areas 4G.

i just used umobile for less than a month from digi, indeed i found theirs internet service is atrocious. even damansara area is very weak can't imagine more 'ulu' area.
thinking of porting back to digi 75, limited offer now.
i'm considering the penalty that i'll need to pay cause i took up the iphone package from last year but only recently start using it.

What do you meant by coverage stable? If you're asking about signal stability, I would say it's quite poor but still usable

umobile got no contract on iphone package unless u sign up the 0 upfront payment with 2 years contract
