Is not switch, is add on the umi means you will get 1GB (min top up rm10) as long as your line is active + UMI data for 1 month. Once you subscribe, the data will last for a month even though your line is not active (can receive but cannot make call). If you have lot of credit and want to fully utilise, you need to top up min rm5 to make the line active so that the UMI can be renew automatically.

I thought the "R" is for international roaming?
How about the network name? will it change to Maxis when "R"?

My office (FIZ) here got Umobile coverage and showing H+, but internet totally not working and go out from the FIZ only can use internet. My setting data roaming already ON, in this case how to switch to Maxis network?

The CS told me the GST rebate won't display in the actual balance. In umobile database will capture the GST rebate and will utilise 1st when you making call. I had tested and it works but no idea why they don't show in the balance.

You are right, once I turn off 3G I can use the internet with 'E'. Maybe my area having 3G data problem
