1. Everytime I start the car, the engine coolant symbol comes up - in blue color. After 15s-45s drive the symbol goes off by itself. Is it normal for the car's engine being slow to warm up? All the car that I has driven so far all warms up in like, 1-2s after the engine has started so I never has this issue.
2. I have this krek krek issue at rear tyre if I pulled the handbrake halfway - as if the handbrake can't hold the car fully although it was a flat surface. No sounds if I pull handbrake in full. Is this normal? 3. Any way to turn off radio? So far I'm just muting the sound... |

Anyone experienced "kluk, klak" sound when turning at low speed (0-15km/h)? The sounds is quite slow, so if I turn on radio will surely miss the sound. And it doesn't happen all the time... Should I bring this to SC?
And I tried driving around without aircond, just to see i-stop. It stops for a very long time. About 25-40s, now that's fuel saving. But the only time I can drive without aircond is only before 7.30AM before it gets hot... |

After i left the car for long hours (like, over the night), the next morning i start the car i noticed that the car's rev at P is quite high, around 2.2k.
This is abnormal right? Because if i change to N, the rev goes down to 800 - which is normal (i assume, since my old car also revs at that speed at N). After driven the car a bit, change to N/P, the rev goes down to 800. Only the morning starting up, the rev goes to 2.2k at P. Anyone kena like this? |

QUOTE(ultraman259 @ Feb 12 2016, 12:51 AM) Sylphy.. My bro's car actually. The ride is smooth & good pick up too.. I just wished it was smaller. The smaller the better but powerful engine. I don't usually speed that much so I don't really need those super powerful engine. But sometimes when I want to accelerate, I want the car to pick up quickly.. not slowly like dying.. until I have to totally floor the pedal -.- I've been in sylphy only once so take this with pinch of salt.Mazda2 pickup is slightly worse than sylphy, i think |

I got my first service at 800km. The SA said next service is at 10800km.
Can the engine oil tahan for 10k km? I thought semi synth can tahan max only 7500km... |

Yeah....thats why i'm surprised that Mazda asked for next service after 10k km with semi-synth. Because its usually recommended to change at 5k km with semi, but we all know today's engine oil is very high quality can last longer - but to the point of 10k? I doubt it... Previous car i was using semi synth, at 7k km the engine oil already become thick and black. But then it was a 99' Corolla - very old engine
Those with more than 10k km, did u guys changed engine oil buta2 like SA advised? Or did u changed it urself? This post has been edited by red4900: Feb 17 2016, 06:51 AM |

I have encountered minor jerking at times at very low speed too. Since it happened like, 2 times out of 2 months ownership, didn't really care...

How much better is the acceleration/power in Sports compared to normal?
I used it in 80++ (gear 4?), didn't feel that it changed to gear 5 that fast even though I was approaching 95... The rev goes up like crazy though, around 4-5k |

QUOTE(TxxT @ Mar 13 2016, 07:55 AM) Any SA here, kindly PM me M2 deal. Serious buyer. Things to ponder:I not interested with bodykit, can i exchange with navigation? Do still get free gift like tint, full tank after i get 2.5k promotion package? Review from those who has the navi said the map and navi is mediocre at best. But standalone navi like Garmin etc requires place to put...and I still has no idea where to put mine... |

I see our backseat has ISOFIX label. But I can't find the two ISOFIX anchorage at our seat? I see only the top tether.
Anyone kind enough to show where is the two bottom ISOFIX anchor for our car? I'm assuming ours is using universal ISOFIX. RTFM does not work, it doesn't say anything about ISOFIX, all is belt installation. Strange, since our car seat has the ISOFIX label on it. |

QUOTE(RicoT @ Mar 18 2016, 11:45 AM) The bottom two ISOFIX are situation on between the gap of the seat and the rear rear. If you put your fingers in to feel, there will be a vertical metal piece of bar for you to hook on the restrainer at each side. I was thinking something like this:[attachmentid=6190637] ![]() So it's a whole vertical metal bar in the seat's gap? I'm in office now, will go put my hand in between the seat later.. |
