I also took the Hamel promo and took the <800 package. Not bad, my old SmartTag(new one conked out) still works but a bit slow, heat rejection also reasonable. Installation fast. Workmanship good.

Accessories can forget about it. Usually accessory shop faster than Mazda 1. If accessory shop don't have den Mazda sure don't have. Like now body kit already available outside but Mazda still don't have.




Sahara-X is available in the shop I went to do my Hamel tint. It is comparable level with 3M, Raytech, Vkool or should I say >RM1.5k level.

I was offered RM1.8k for 97% infrared rejection with 10 years warranty. Additional RM700 for +2% infrared rejection and additional 3 years warranty. I didn't take it.

Can phone GPS works within the car perfectly? I know VKool Elite will make GPS go haywire, and slow SmartTag detection.

RM450/window perhaps? Read the fine print? RM450 x 6 glass on Mazda 2 = RM2700

worked on mine. Smart Tag never have problem so far. GPS lock time also no diff for my Nexus 5 and Redmi 2. But my wife's Note 3 went haywire.

My SA give me Llumar tint, not sure which, but mentioned it is anti-thief type.

Now stands at 70% windscreen 50% the rest. Come 1st May should be 70%-50% front windows-30% rear passenger and rear window.

I am thinking of whether to wait till then to put 30%.

Then, inb4, postpone again.

anti-thief is security film which is usually 5mil and above. Hamel 6 mil 85% IR rejection package RM499.

My 8mil 95% also quite tough.

My as said to be before 10th but postponed again to next week around 15-16th this month. Said car out from custom in port too slow.
