I also took the Hamel promo and took the <800 package. Not bad, my old SmartTag(new one conked out) still works but a bit slow, heat rejection also reasonable. Installation fast. Workmanship good.

With bigger car comes bigger FC. More electronics more bugs. With less instalments you have more money to go overseas for your holiday. Don't need big cars.

I use Turtle Wax ICE when I got my car, very easy to apply and I did it twice over two weekends. After that I didn't have time to wash my car for nearly two months. Still very shiny. Rather save the money for full respray than apply coating. If your car got dented, it's $500 per panel of coating or so. Ouch!

Same will happen to those sticky plastics around the door sills. I removed them the day I got my car.

Point is, after a while, you also need a respray. Nothing saves your car from dents. Use your 2k for a respray. Coatings should be reserved for cars 200k and above. Makes more sense.

I'm using the Hamel $799 package. Value for money! But my expectation is kinda low... I don't expect tints to keep my car cool after more than half hr in the sun. Having said that, I do find Hamel meets my expectation, I don't think the Raytech C5 any better in my other car, a Mazda 6 which I paid more than 2k due to unscrupulous salesman.

BTW, I am trying to sell my M2 Skyactiv first batch and had a rude shock! Not even one year old and I'm set to lose 20K!!!!! Damn painful man. Moving overseas....
